How nice of Karen Davila to have taken the time off from her so busy schedule, so she can attend the launch of former Miss Universe runner-up, Miriam Quiambao, first book as an author.

Kasama ni Karen ang kanyang dalawang anak na lalaki. She’s married to a TV5 News Department executive, DJ Sta Ana.

Ang launch ay naganap sa National Bookstore branch in Glorietta Makati, where copies of the book, titled He Can Catch You When You Fall (The Continuing Life Story of Miriam Quiambao) are on sale.

Inspirational ang story ni Miriam, which she herself wrote. She has had many good and bad experien­ces in all her 40 years. But with God’s help, she said, ‘‘nakabangon’’ siya. And she has never been happier.

Miriam, for nearly three years now, is married to Fellow Christian author, Ardy Roberto.
