Sharon ayaw matulad si KC sa kanyang ginawa noon, wala ring masabi kay Paulo!

Opisyal nang inanunsyo ng ABS-CBN kahapon ang pagbabalik sa network ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta. Nag-trending nga agad ang tagline at hashtag na “Sharon is home” habang nagpe-presscon.

Pumirma rin ng kontrata si Sharon last Monday just before the presscon. For her first project, kasama siya sa Your Face Sounds Familiar ni Billy Crawford bilang isa sa mga jurors with Jed Madela and Gary Valenciano.

No regrets naman daw siya sa kanyang desisyon na mangibang-network noon at lumipat sa TV5 dahil naka-create siya ng mga bagong friends, nakapag-comedy na hindi niya pa nagawa, nakatrabaho ang mga paborito niyang direktor.

Isa sa mga naitanong kay Shawie sa announcement presscon ay kung ano ang masasabi niya kay Paulo Avelino na rumored boyfriend ng anak niyang si KC Concepcion although ang latest, split na raw ang dalawa.

“I met him, especially when my Mama died, and a few occasions. He was respectful towards me but I don’t think anybody that’s being introduced to me by my daughter would act differently.

“So I choose to have no impression of Paulo, kasi baka ma-misinterpret na naman, ‘di ba?

“Pero anybody that my daughter introduces to me as long as my daughter’s being treated very well is welcome in our lives.

“But I hope KC will also take the time, because she’s still relatively young – to maybe reconnect, and then, connect with new people in circle outside of show business.

“Kasi I don’t like na parang I was very young, ang nakikita ko lang ay ‘yung mga katrabaho ko, so I married Gabby (Concepcion), I would have relationships with my leading men.

“So, I just want something maybe better than what I went through, not a better person but a better elimination process, a better more fair one for her. Para makita niya ang people in showbiz and people outside of showbiz.”

Dahil nasa Kapamilya na siya ulit, baka gumawa siya for the very first time ng teleserye. Natanong siya kung willing siyang makatrabaho si Paulo at ang ex-boyfriend ni KC na si Piolo Pascual at sabi niya ay oo naman at open daw siya to anything and anybody ngayon.

I would love to work with Piolo, with anybody actually,” say niya.

Okay din daw sa kanya na makatrabaho ang ex-husband na si Gabby Concepcion, ex-leading men tulad ni Richard Gomez, at kahit sino.

Basta sa ngayon ay happy at excited daw siya to work again dahil mahigit isang taon din daw siyang hindi nakita sa ere.

Humakot ng 8 tropeo ang pelikulang Bo­nifa­cio, Ang Unang Pa­ngulo kabilang ang Best Pic­ture at Best Director, sa katatapos na Gabi ng Parangal ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) 31st Star Awards for Movies na ginanap sa The Theater ng Solaire Hotel Resort and Casino, in Parañaque, noong Linggo, ika-8 ng Marso, 2015.
Ang indie film na The Janitor ang namayani sa indie category, 5 awards ang naibuslo nito, kabilang din ang Indie Movie of the Year at Indie Movie Director of the Year.

Napanalunan ni Nora Aunor ang Best Actress award para sa Dementia, tie naman sa pagka-Best Actor sina John Lloyd Cruz (The Trial) at Piolo Pascual (Starting Over Again). Sa Best Supporting Actress ay tie rin sina Sylvia Sanchez at Gretchen Barretto, kapwa para sa pelikulang The Trial. Best Supporting Actor si Nicco Manalo para sa The Janitor.

Napagwagian naman ni Bimby Yap, ka-tie si Miggs Cuaderno, ang Best Child Performer award. At sa Best New Movie Actor & Actress award, nakuha ito nina Richard Yap at Sofia Andres.

Male & Female Face of the Night naman sina Iñigo Pascual at Kylie Padilla, Male & Female Star of the Night sina Julian Estrada at Sophia Andres. Si Vicky Morales ang itinanghal na Darling of the Press.

Ipinagkaloob kay Celia Rodriguez ang Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award, at naging maramdamin siya sa kanyang talumpati, samantalang ang Ulirang Alagad ng Pelikula sa Likod ng Kamera Lifetime Achievement Award ay tinanggap ni Direk Maryo J. delos Reyes.

Hosts ng 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies sina Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Robi Domingo, at Pops Fer­nandez.

Pinalakpakan ang napakahusay na pagkanta ni International Singing Sensation na si Charice. Umawit din sina Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 Finalist Lucky Robles, Karaoke World Champions Lilibeth Garcia at JV Decena, at X Factor Philippines and Macau International Jazz and Blues Festival Finalist Mark Mabasa. ‘Di rin nagpahuli sina King & Queen of R&B Jay-R at Kyla, kasama ang The Voice of the Phi­lip­pines Top 4 na sina Jason Dy, Alisah Bonaobra, Leah Patricio, at Rence Rapanot. Sa finale number naman ang madamdaming awitin ni Toni Gonzaga.
