John muntik isumpa si Angelica dahil kay John Lloyd

As child stars, higit na matalik na magkaibigan sina Angelica Panganiban at Camille Prats, nakababatang kapatid ni John Prats, kesa sina Ange­lica at John.

All three of them were mainstays of the then showcase for young talents ng ABS-CBN, Ang TV.

Nagkahiwalay kumbaga, ang landas nina Ange­lica at Camille nang kapwa maging teenager sila. All because of what the two of them consider now a flimsy reason, com­mon among people their age.

Samantala, kahit nang magkasama na sina Angelica at John sa current two gag shows nila, Banana Split Extra Scoop at Banana Nite, it took a while, bago wika nga, sila naging as close as can be.

And it happened when Angelica and Derek Ramsay broke up after a nearly six-year relationship. Naging somehow, kumbaga, ‘‘sandalan’’ niya si John.

It was Angelica’s time to offer naman John her shoulder to cry on, when he and Shaina Magdayao parted ways. And we all know kung sino ang naging ka-on ni Shaina after John.

Kaya, can you imagine when report broke out na nagkahiwalay sina Shaina at John Lloyd at ang bagong ka-on nito ay si Angelica?

But this is of course, now all water under the bridge. As we also know, kasalukuyang in love si John Prats kay Isabel Oli. And before the year ends, magpapakasal na sila.

Angelica relate na relate sa pagiging heart broken

Samantala, as commonly agreed nila ni John Lloyd, they will focus both their attention to their respective careers. Lalo pa nga’t on her end, Ange­lica admits, she’s never having it so good.

Her currently showing movie, That Thing Called Tadhana kasama si JM de Guzman as her leading man, is a confirmed box-office hit. And she is getting moreover, good reviews sa kanyang performance as a woman who has suffered a break-up with her boyfriend, pero pinilit makabangon uli. Not to say, umibig uli.

‘‘Very me ang role ko, ‘di ba?’’ nakangiting saad ni Angelica.

Anytime soon too, she will start taping for her new series, where for the first time, she will play Mom to a teenager (Daniel Padilla), sa remake of the much-loved and high rating series, Pangako sa ’Yo.

‘‘I take over kasi the role played in the original Pangako… ni Jean Garcia.

‘‘Akin ang role niya bilang Claudia Buenavista. At si Jodi Sta. Maria naman ang gaganap bilang Amor Powers, na ginampanan naman ni Eula Valdez,’’ ani Angelica.

Original lead actors of Pangako… were the then much-admired and well-loved love team nina Jericho Rosales at Kristine Hermosa.

While Daniel plays the role ni Jericho, ang role naman ni Kristine ay gagampanan ni Kathryn Bernardo.

Pampakilig na movie ng Kathniel balik-tambalan din nina Gabby at LT

Busy as a bee rin both sina Kathryn at Daniel, whose upcoming movie starrer, Crazy Beautiful You, will be the post-Valentine offering ng Star Cinema.

The film, directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar reunites too, the iconic tandem of senior stars Gabby Concepcion and Lorna Tolentino.
