Helen at Tito Sotto never pang lumipat ng bahay!
Hubby and wifey, respectively, ang term of endearment ng ngayo’y engaged couple nang sina John Prats at Isabel Oli.
On the other hand, sina Senator Tito Sotto at Helen Gamboa, na 45 years nang kasal, address each other to date ‘honey.’
No doubt that Senator Sotto and Helen’s marriage is one of the very few enduring sa local showbiz.
The couple still live in the same house, which has had a series of renovation na, of course, in White Plains, Quezon City, where Helen resided with her own family noong dalaga pa siya.
The house witnessed, too, the birth and growing up years of their four children, all of them ay may kanya-kanyang asawa na rin. And the elder three have given them grandchildren.
Their bunso, Ciara, married to APT executive Jojo Oconer, is four months na buntis.
And all of them, kung kabuhayan ang pag-uusapan, ay well-settled na.
Only son, Gian, is a councilor of the 3rd district of Quezon City.
“Kaya, personally, I really have nothing to ask for,” ani Helen. “Feel ko, isa ako sa kanyang nilalang na pinagpala ng Diyos.
“I just cannot thank Him enough.”
Niño ‘kakalabanin’ si Bossing Vic
Meanwhile, Sen. Tito’s younger brother, Vic (Sotto), although matagal nang legally hiwalay sa asawang si Dina Bonnevie, with whom may dalawa siyang anak na sina Danica at Oyo, parehong married na rin, remains, kumbaga, a bachelor to date.
Kung ilang babae, na mostly, celebrities si Bossing Vic na-link, the latest of whom is TV host-actress Pauleen Luna, who is in her 20s.
Bossing Vic remains one of the busiest bilang TV host-actor. Bukod sa daily noontime program niyang Eat Bulaga, na kung ilang dekada na rin siyang parte, may iba pa siyang TV shows, Who Wants to be a Millionaire (on TV5) and Vampire ang Daddy Ko (GMA 7) si Vic.
He has quite a number of endorsements, too.
Bossing Vic is currently shooting for his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry this year, My Big Bossings Adventures, a trilogy, which also stars child stars Ryzza Mae Dizon at Alonzo Muhlach.
Featured also is former child wonder, Niño Muhlach, bilang kontrabida ni Bossing Vic.
Mark Gil nakakakaisang buwan nang wala
Today, October 1, exactly one month mula nang namayapa ang actor na si Mark Gil.
He died of cirrhosis of the liver.
In the span of 30 years that Mark was an actor, he appeared in about 100 films. He was a permanent fixture as well sa mga teleserye, produced by both ABS-CBN at GMA 7.
Last niyang TV appearance ang sa series na The Legal Wife, which co-starred him with Angel Locsin, who played the title role, Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador, Joem Bascon, Rio Locsin, at Christopher de Leon.
Two of his memorable films were Miss X, which co-starred him with now Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto at Batch ’81, na idinirek ni Mike de Leon.
In Batch ’81, Mark’s son (with first wife, Bing Pimentel), Tim Eigenmann (real surname ni Mark) was born.
When Tim turned actor in 2003, Mark suggested to Tim that he adapts the screen name, Sid Lucero, na siyang name niya sa Batch ’81.
