- Vinia Vivar - Pang-masa

“We’re not really expecting that the President was going to mention our names.

“Well, I’m really honored,” he said.

“Oo, minsan. Actually, even ‘yung asking for the Executive Order for this one, for Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino, napag-uusapan naman namin, sometimes in a very casual manner,” he said.

“Well, I think that’s what we’re asking – for the government to support it. . .to start a tradition, maitulak talaga or mai-push.”

Gusto raw sana nila ay mga bandang July or September ang target month nila for Linggo ng Musika.

“We wanted to really have that, na parang dedicated na panahon.”

Pinangunahan ng nasabing singer/songwriter ang presscon along with other icons tulad nina Mitch Valdez and Jim Paredes.

“I want to invite them,” sabi ni Noel.

“We will be honored to have him during the festival because that will also signify the support of the government,” he said.
