Ryzza Mae ka-love team ang tingin kay Bimby!

Due to give birth na pala si Jolina Magdangal with her and husband Mark Escueta’s first baby, a boy.

Husband and wife, though, have yet to have a name prepared for the baby. Instead, what excites them is the day of her panganganak, sometime in February.

“God willing, normal ang panganganak ko,” Jolina said.

We saw and was able to talk to Jolina at the birthday party of APT Entertainment’s executive Malou Fagar. One of the most liked personalities in the business, Malou’s party at the Emperor Room of the Imperial Pa­lace, had several equally most liked personalities as guests.

Of course, there was Tony Tuviera, who heads and owns APT Entertainment (producer of Eat Bulaga); Susan Roces, who was later joined by daughter Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares; Maricel Soriano, who came with Veanna Fores; Pip (Tirso Cruz III) and wife Lyn Ynchausti; Joey Marquez; Sen. Tito Sotto, banker, art collector, and entertainment columnist, Danny Dolor; Rochelle Pangalinan; at child actress and TV host Ryzza Mae Dizon.

Among Malou’s fellow talent managers na present were Norma J. Japitana, Girlie Rodis, Shirley Kuan, Angge, Dolor Guevarra, who came with daughters JP and Aness, Popoy Caritativo, and Perry Lansigan.

Also noted was June Rufino, Viva Films executive and head of the talent managers’ association, PAMI (Professional Association of Managers, Inc.) and, of course, Mother Lily Monteverde, owner of Imperial Palace and producer of Regal Entertainment, Inc.

Among the members of the Wednesday Club, which Malou heads, ang tanging namataan namin ay sina Allan Diones, Dondon Sermino, at Ian Fariñas.

Speaking of Ryzza Mae, again kinulit namin siya ni Angge tungkol kay Bimby Yap, Jr., daughter nina Kris Aquino at cager James Yap, kung totoong sila na ba.

Tigas ng iling ni Ryzza Mae. Basta, magka-love team lang daw sila sa upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, My Little Bossings where Kris and Vic Sotto also stars. Direction is by Marlon Rivera.

On why she was absent form her two daily shows, Eat Bulaga at The Ryzza Mae Show, Tony Tuviera took the cudgel for her.

“Nilagnat siya,” ani Tony. “Kaya sabi namin magpahinga siya ng ilang araw.”

The child star is also doing the weekly come­dy-horror series na Vampire ang Daddy Ko with Vic and Oyo Sotto as lead stars.

By the way, Ali Sotto came late sa party. We mentioned her name kasi lately, dahil in town siya (most of the time she’s abroad dahil sa work ng kanyang foreign consul husband), we get to see her often.

Do you know that in December ay 10 years na mula nang mamatay in an accident ang isa sa dalawa niyang anak, si Mico Sotto?

Ser Chief pangarap na kasal ang ibinigay kay Maya

Today, Friday, Nov. 15, mapapanood on ABS-CBN ang pinakahihintay na kasal nina Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) at Ser Chief (Richard Yap) which was held pala sa itinuturing na ngayong national treasure, ang Taal Church.

Sa isa sa mga resort house ni Mother Lily Monteverde tumira ang bride. Si Jodi, we mean. Ang mismong vice mayor ng Taal, si Pong Mercado, dating production manager ng Regal Films, ang nag-entertain sa grupo ni Jodi.

Reception was held in another place, according to Angge, who was at the wedding.

Comment ni Angge: “Ang kind of wedding na ibinigay ni Ser Chief sa kanyang mahal na si Maya ay tunay na one of a kind. Isang wedding na pangarap ng bawat babae kapag ikinasal siya.”
