Wow, no need pala for those close to Martin Nievera to worry as to what’s in store for him should he decided to retire from the music scene.

Which we should all agree ay posibleng maga­nap in years pa. As it is, after all, Martin still continues to be in demand for concerts. And TV appearances. Bukod pa sa personal appearances here and abroad.

In any case, granting that Martin retires na from showbiz, well, he can put up a humburger store, or even a chain, eventually. Na siya mismo ang magi-grill at courtesy ng sarili niyang concoction.

That Martin has a natural flair for cooking, he proved this when, at the presscon the repeat of the repeat of his kai-staged na concert, 3D: Tatlong Dekada, last Sept. 13 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, he served members of the entertainment press invited, his own version of hamburger sandwich which they all agree can give the existing hamburger chain a run for their money.

Of his repeat concert, 3D: Tatlong Dekada, on Nov. 27, still at the Big Dome, he will have the same brilliant production team behind him. Musical director is Louie Ocampo, with the formidable Philharmonic Orchestra accompanying him and, of course, Rowell Santiago directing.

Like in his first concert, a number of special guests, mostly singers equally as talented as he is, will come. But he’d rather not name them yet.

In the audience, more celebrity friends are coming using tickets which, according to Martin, ‘‘sila mismo ang bumili.’’

A born hitmaker, if there is, Martin is expected to sing most of his hits songs such as Be My Lady, Each Day With You, Holiday, Please Don’t Throw My Love Away, Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin, and Say That You Love Me.

Martin‘s current hits include Kahit Isang Saglit, You are My Song, Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin, Forever, Ikaw Lang ang Aking Pangarap, at Kung Nasaan Ka Man.

Known for his rare gift of gab, Martin though, would rather not discuss anything about his love life. Although we heard whispers that the current girl in his life is somehow related to someone linked to a royalty in an independent sultanate.

Dingdong at Karylle malapit nang magkita!

Just asking: Will Dingdong Dantes join Bea Alonzo when he promotes their first movie together She’s the One, in It’s Showtime?

As we all know, Karylle, a permanent host of Showtime, was once Dingdong’s one and only.

They broke up, unfortunately, not in a friendly way, when Dingdong fell in love with Marian Rivera.

Surprisingly, however, their estrangement did not affect their business partnership that reportedly includes a few cafe and restaurants.

Currently, like Dingdong, Karylle is herself in love now. Yes, with Yael Yuzon, a vocalist and himself an Ateneo de U graduate.

Mikael deadma sa pagde-deny ni Megan

Obviously hindi issue kay Mikael Daez ang reportedly pag-deny ni Megan Young, during the kasagsagan ng kanyang pagtutok para ma-win ang titulong Miss World, na may boyfriend na siya. Ang mahalaga nga naman ay kung ano’ng naramdaman nila sa isa’t isa.

Kabilang si Mikael, maliban sa pamilya ni Megan, na tumungong Bali, Indonesia para magbigay ng support before her victory, na ngayo’y international beauty queen nang si Megan.

Feeling ni Mikael, it was the support of the entire Filipino people which encouraged her to do her best. As we all know, by now, it was the Filipinos as a whole, na pinasalamatan ni Megan, nang i-proclaim siya bilang Miss World.

A business management graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University, Mikael is one of the most promising talents in GMA 7.

His two other shows, aside from the GMA 7 newscast where he is featured devouring on food for a midnight snack, ay ang Unang Hirit at Bubble Gang.
