Jericho sa Internet lang kinausap ang magulang ng mapapangasawa

Wala nang urungan, sabi mismo ng talent manger ni Jericho Rosales na si Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano (yes, misis siya ni Gary Valenciano), ang pagpapakasal ng kanyang binatang talent sa Australian-Filipina girlfriend na si Kim Jones, after all, sabi nga ni Echo, at 33, ready na siya to have a family.

Funny, according to Echo, that when he met Kim it was at the time na suko na siyang maghanap, kumbaga, ng tamang girlfriend na naniniwala ring right man siya for her.

In fact, all set na raw siya to leave for New York and start life anew there. Maski anong trabaho, willing niyang subukan. Sabakan.

And then nga, through Dominic Ochoa’s wife, the former Effie Go, nagkrus ang landas nila ni Kim. And right then and there, alam niyang he finally has found “the one.”

Always the gentleman that he is, Echo first asked Kim’s parents’ permission to marry their daughter. Yes, via Skype.

It was Kim’s mom whom he talked with. And immediately daw, she gave him her blessing.

Echo has had the chance na makilala na ang parents ni Kim. Lalo na ang mommy nito. Nagbakasyon siya sa Australia kasama si Kim at doon lalong nakilala niya ang buhay at pamilyang kinalakhan ng fiancée.

“I promised Kim we will make our family as happy and ideal as theirs,” pahayag ni Echo.

Eh ang kanyang parents, na-meet na ba ni Kim?

“Ilang beses na,” sagot ni Echo. “And they are happy for me.”

Meanwhile, he wants to keep himself busy sa kanyang showbiz career. He is allowing daw Kim to start na preparing for their wedding, which is about fourth months from now.

Echo is set to start work on a series na idinirek ni Rory Quintos and will co-star him for the first time with Angel Locsin.

Also starring are Christopher de Leon, Maja Salvador, Mark Gil, and Rio Locsin.

Jodi malaki na ang kinikita sa bagong negosyo

Apart from taping her highly admired and consistent high-rating series Be Careful With My Heart, on ABS-CBN, guess what else keeps Jodi Sta. Maria busy?

“You mean, maliban din sa pagiging ina kay Thirdy (her five-year-old son with estranged husband Pampi Lacson)?” patanong ding sagot ng aktres before she continued, “I bring him and fetch him from his school. Yes, he’s now in pre-school.”

The other thing that keeps her busy is her Happy Barn Milkshake Factory na located sa Rustan’s Supermarket sa Las Piñas City.

Kasosyo niya sa business niyang ito ang mga kaibigang sina Abigail del Mundo at Janssen Muñoz.

Jodi is proud to say that theirs is the first milkshake store, at least, dito sa Metro Manila. It is doing well, so much so in a few months two other milkshake bars, which the trio of them own, are set to open at the Market! Market! in Taguig City and at the Rockwell Power Plant in Makati City.

Wonder if Jodi’s first restaurant Rue Bourbon, located sa Eastwood City Walk, sa Quezon City, still exists?

We wonder as well kung patuloy pa rin ang kanyang beauty parlor, a franchise, na successful lineup of beauty shop ni Bambbi Fuentes, na ni-locate naman niya sa Parañaque City.

Where Jodi’s current love life is concerned, no doubt na secure sila sa kanilang pag-ibig sa isa’t isa ni Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla.
