Direk Lino ayaw nang magteleserye, MMK ang gustong balikan
Direk Lino Cayetano, now Taguig City (4th district) congressman said in an interview, he’s not turning his back on showbiz. If, at all, he’s just taking his time because he needs nga naman to take himself at home muna with his new career in politics.
In politics, he thinks he can do a lot for his consÂtituents. Especially nga that Fort Bonifacio, part of the district he represents, is in the eye of a storm kumbaga.
Will the city remain a part of Taguig? Or, is it nga talaga a Makati City property? Well, based on the Supreme Court’s decision.
In any case, should he resume TV and movie directing, which he would take to as a sideline, Direk Lino said that he will no longer be able to do any teÂleserye. Shows on TV na lang which would not require so much time on his end.

Well, why not for, wika nga, his comeback of sorts?
His last directorial job was Aryana, starring teen star Ella Cruz.
Come to think of it, ba’t kaya ’di na nasundan ang series na ito ni Ella after nagtapos? Hayan tuloy, kahit ang nakapareha niyang si Francis Magundayao ay ’di rin busy.
Mayor Herbert at Long parang sina Dolphy at Panchito
Based on the rapport displayed by Mayor Herbert Bautista and Long Mejia, whenever the two of them are in a comedy scene together in the currently showing film Raketeros, the two would make an ideal comedy tandem. The likes ba nina Dolphy at Panchito. O nina Babalu at Dolphy.
Nakakatuwa ang mga eksenang nag-e-exchange repartee sila.
We are sure, Raketeros would help revive the once successful showbiz career ni Mayor Herbert. But we doubt, though, if he will consider it dahil successful siya sa politics.
And, of course, si Long. O, Long, keep it up na this time, ha?
Julius iniidolo ni Tunying sa pagpapa-pamilya
Guess kung sino among his fellow TV and radio anchor ang somehow kinu-consider ni Anthony Taberna na modelo niya especially as a family man?
Take a bow, Julius Babao dahil ikaw daw.
Julius, as we all know, for more than five years now is married to fellow TV personality, Tintin Bersola.
The couple, who are devotees of St. Anthony and Sto. Pio, are blessed with two kids.
Julius, like Anthony, is one of the five busy broadcast journaÂlists on ABS-CBN, who handles a weekday afternoon current affairs show, aimed to public service and information to its listeners.
Julius’ show, Bistado, airs Mondays.
Anthony, married naman to a lady who is in marketing, is assigned the show Tapatan ni Tunying which airs Thursdays.
Anthony and his wife have two daughters.
The rest of the journalists are Karen Davila, who hosts May Puhunan every Wednesday; Doris Bigornia, Mutya ng Masa, every Tuesday; and Atom Araullo, Hiwaga, Fridays.
Other shows that keep Anthony busy every day of the week are Umagang Kay Ganda (UMG) and TV Patrol.
Daily, on radio, DZMM, he is heard twice for his show with Gerry Baja, Dos Por Dos.
Talk about busy people and Anthony is one of them.
