Ser Chief gagawa ng album sa tatlong lengguwahe!

Wow, this is a first, ’pag nagkataon! An album which will contain not just English and Tagalog songs kung hindi Chinese rin.

And guess who the recording singer will be?

Richard Yap, Ser Chief to you and me. And to all followers of his top morning series with Jodi Sta. Maria on ABS-CBN, ang Be Careful With My Heart.

Richard or Ser Chief just signed a recording contract recently with Star Records.

Richard admits that one of his passions is singing. In his high school days at a Chinese school in Cebu City, where he came from, he was a member of their school’s Glee Club.

In college, he took up a marketing degree and for a while before joining showbiz, he worked as marketing head of a furniture firm in Cebu City.

No doubt, Richard or Ser Chief agrees that things that are happening to him in showbiz now ay he never dreamed of nor even guessed na mangyayari sa kanya.

But to quote Kim Chiu, a fellow Cebuano ni Ser Chief, everything happens for a reason. After all, Richard now agrees, who would think that his stint as a model of a fastfood chain will lead him to where he is now?

As we all know, Ser Chief will soon be a movie star because his TV series will be translated into a movie kasama ang members of the cast. Kumpirmadong earmarked na ito for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), anang director ng series na si Direk Jeffrey Jeturian, whom Star Cinema has tasked to also direct its movie version.

Kaye may tsansa pang ‘makipagbalikan’ kay John Lloyd

Seven years din palang nag-last ang relasyon nina Kaye Abad at ng bokalista ng Parokya ni Edgar na si Chito Miranda.

Alam daw ni Kaye na kung ginusto niyang magpakasal sila ni Chito ay malamang na mag-asawa na sila ngayon.

Pero ’di nga ito nangyari. And obviously, both of them have moved on.

Balitang may bago na si Chito, na occasionally ay lumalabas pa rin sa shows ng ABS-CBN and a product of a reality show.

Kaye, on the other hand, is aktibong muli sa showbiz. Right after her stint in Angelito, Batang Ama, which had JM de Guzman playing the title role, kaagad sinundan ito ng Annaliza where child actress Andrea Brillantes plays the title role. Also starring are Zanjoe Marudo, Patrick Garcia, Carlo Aquino, and Denise Laurel.

May bago na ring pag-ibig si Kaye. Taga-showbiz din. She just doesn’t want to reveal who.

Pangarap daw ng aktres ang makagawa siya ng movie naman. Which might just happen.

Ang tanong lang: Paano kung gawin siyang kontrabida, which seems to be her expertise now, in a movie starring John Lloyd Cruz? Pumayag kaya siya?

Common knowledge that when both of them were still teenagers ay naging ‘‘sila.’’

We condole with Betchay and her husband Boy Nakpil, and their only son JM.

Betchay is one of the daughters of the late Sampaguita Pictures producer, the well-known star maker, Dr. Jose Perez.
