Eugene at Jake tatlong beses naglaplapan

Eugene Domingo and Jake Cuenca kissed on the lips not just once or twice but three times sa pelikulang Tuhog which opens today in theaters nationwide.

“Ninerbiyos ako,” saad ni Eugene.

To which, Jake also said: “Ako rin.”

To both, it was their first time raw na magkakaroon ng ganoong eksena sa project na kanilang ginawa, mapa-TV o mapa-pelikula.

In Tuhog, Eugene plays a 40-year-old virgin who works as a bus barker cum konduktor. Driver naman ng bus si Jake na much younger kay Eugene. Pero nagkainlaban sila.

Desired as absorbing at bago ang approach, Tuhog, directed by Veronica Velasco, also stars Enchong Dee, Leo Martinez, Empress, and Joel Trinidad.

Tuhog is a Skylight Films production which also produced the box-office hit. Bromance starring Zanjoe Marudo.

How nice, Salve A., to know na muling magdidirek si Direk Joey Reyes na ang huling pelikulang idinirek if we remember it right was the most-admired indie flick na Mga Mumunting Lihim (Those Little Secrets) which starred Judy Ann Santos, Agot Isidro, Iza Calzado, at Janice de Belen.

Well, this time, may interesting title muli ang pelikula na kanyang ididirek, Ano ang Pangalan ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap?

Come to think of it, Salve A., may dating pangarap ka bang, natupad man o hindi, ay nakalimutan mo na?

Direk Joey, by the way, is the one assigned by TV5 din to write the story and script of Sharon Cuneta’s first series as a Kapatid, ang Madame Chairman.

To be directed by Joel Lamangan, si Jay Manalo ang gaganap bilang asawa ni Megastar.

Kean nag-aaral na ng filmmaking, gusto na ring maging direktor

Guess who is featured with Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in their first film together Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo with Joyce Bernal directing for Star Cinema?

Band vocalist Kean Cipriano, that’s who.

In the movie, Kean plays one of the crushes ni Kim na ’di naman siya crush.

Kean, without exerting effort, displays another face to his personality, that is, aside from singing sa gag show na Banana Nite, where he now regularly appears. He is a natural comic.

Kean still gets to sing, though, every Sunday, in ASAP 18 naman.

Well, type niya in the future to work behind the cameras. He is in fact currently enrolled in filmma­king at the Mowelfund Film Institute.

Where his love life is concerned, Kean would rather keep mum. Although, at one time, he was linked to Danita Paner and then to Alex Gonzaga with whom he now works in Banana Nite.
