First award ito as best performance by an actress nina Gina Alajar at Regine sa Golden Screen Awards at hindi naman nakarating si Anita Linda na winner ng best performance by an actress in a supporting role-drama, musical or comedy dahil nagkaroon siya ng freak accident sa bathroom niya last Friday evening.
Hindi nag-expect na mananalo si Alfred Vargas pero nag-tie sila ni Eddie Garcia sa best performance by an actor in a lead role–drama.
