Sa sobrang pagmamahalan, Angelica at John Lloyd parehong nanaba!

Hoy, Salve A., itong si Angelica Panganiban should do something about her weight na. As writer-editor-columnist Nestor Cuartero mentioned in his column, ’di na maitago ang pananaba ni Angelica lalo pa nga at sexy ang kayang role sa kanyang series na Apoy sa Dagat on ABS-CBN.

As Angelica continues mentioning sa kanyang Twitter account na happy siya, lalo na sa kanyang love life, walang kaduda-dudang nagsasabi siya ng totoo. The same can be said of John Lloyd Cruz na halatang nag-gain din ng weight lately.

Did we hear it right that the two of them recently had a rendezvous in a beach in Palawan where reportedly the two had the time of their lives?

Ganun man, even if they are both happy in their personal lives, lalo na sa love life nga, bilang mga artista they still have to look up to the expectations of the public sa kanila.

Angelica should not forget that the public loves her for her sexy image. In the case of John Lloyd, his followers want him to look his best always as much as possible.

By the way, congrats to Angelica, dahil, together with Angel Locsin, recipient siya for the best actress award in the upcoming Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Box office Awards this year. They both won it for their movie, One More Try.

Actually, Angel already won a trophy for best actress for the said movie in their recent Star Awards for Movies ng Philippine Movie Press Club.

One More Try, directed by Ruel Bayani, was a Star Cinema entry in last year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. It was cited as second top grosser.

Alice Dixson kinontra-kontra si Rita

As far as Alice Dixson is concerned, wala raw dahilan for any of her co-actors in TV5 Never Say Goodbye to complain kung tungkol sa attitude niya sa kanyang trabaho ang pag-uusapan. Never Say… is her pangatlong series na for the network and, as far as she knows daw, she has always been a professional.

Anyone daw may ask those with whom she had worked with in her two previous TV5 series, Babaeng Hampaslupa at Enchanted Garden. Even daw sa mga taga-TV5, wala siyang naririnig na complaints against sa kanya.

In fact nga raw, this early, may mga ilang project nang inilatag sa kanya ang TV5 na gagawin niya. And they all look and sound as promising as her past projects with them.

Hindi raw niya masisisi (wala siyang particular na character na tinutukoy ha?) nung may naapektuhan sa manner ng kanyang pag-perform sa kanyang role bilang Criselda sa Never Say Goodbye. Talagang ang pagiging ‘‘baliw-baliwan’’ sa mga episode sa kasalukuyan ay kailangan sa kanyang role.

Susog pa niya: ‘‘Gumaganap lang ako ng role. Wala akong pini-personal.’’

Samantala, highly appreciated ni Neil Arce, isa sa mga producer ng upcoming movie na Coming Soon, ang pagpayag ni Alice na gumanap bilang ina ni Andi Eigenmann, who co-stars with Boy 2 Quizon, Dominic Roco, Glaiza de Castro, at Cholo Barretto. Andi happens to be a co-producer, too, of the project. Ganun din si Boy 2 at dating Ilocos Sur Rep. Ronald Singson.

“Nang sinabi ko sa kanya ang aking pakay at honestly kong sinabing first project namin itong magkakasama at, kung puwede niya kaming matulungan na mag-guest sa pelikula, ’di ako nagdalawang salita. Pumayag kaagad siya. Without my asking, ibinigay niya kaagad ang address where I can send her the call slip. And she reported to the set on time,’’ kuwento ni Neil.

Alice is just one of the major stars guesting in Coming Soon, like Vice Ganda, at marami pang iba will be in it, too.

Neil, as we all know, is a businessman and is currently linked with GMA 7 star Bela Padilla.
