Kris, Vice, at AiAi tinanghal na Phenomenal Box-Office Stars; John Lloyd at Bea Box-Office King and Queen!

Inilabas na ng pamunuan ng Guillermo Men­­­doza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, pagkata­pos ng kanilang deliberation last Sunday, April 7, ang mga winners para sa kanilang 44th Box Office En­tertainment Awards.

Ang live coronation night ay gaganapin sa Ling­go, Mayo 19, 7:00 pm sa AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. 

Mapapanood naman ito sa Linggo, May 26, sa Sunday’s Best ng ABS-CBN.

Last year, nagdagdag sila ng bagong category na Phenomenal Box-Office Star para kay Vice Ganda dahil kumita nang pinakamalaki noong 2011 ang movie niyang Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin ng P331.2 million, ngayon ay muli nilang gagamitin ang category na ito  na Pheno­menal Box-Office Stars na para kina AiAi delas Alas, Vice Ganda, at Kris Aquino, dahil ang peli­kula nilang Sisterakas na ipinalabas noong 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival ay nakakuha ng pinakamalaking box-office returns na P342 million.  Mari-retain pa rin ang category na ito sa susunod na taon, kung may makakakuha pa rin ng mataas na box-office results sa 2013.  (Makabog kaya ito ng It Takes a Man & a Wowan nina John Lloyd Cruz at Sarah Geronimo na ilang araw pa lamang ipinalalabas ay halos umabot na sa P300 million ang box-office result.)

Kaya ang Box-Office King title ay ibinigay kay John Lloyd Cruz dahil ang movie niyang The Mistress ang tumanggap ng second top box-office result. Ang katambal niyang si Bea Alonzo ang tinanghal na Box-Office Queen.
