’Di lang pala isa kung hindi twice na nakipag-lips to lips si Bacoor Congressman Lani Mercado kay Alvin Anson in the upcoming movie na Flames of Love where both of them play doctors.
Isang dermatologist si Lani at isang psychiatrist naman si Alvin. Supposedly magkaklase sila habang kapwa sila nag-aaral ng medisina.
They chose not to get married, though, dahil kinailangan pang mag-aral abroad si Alvin to specialize sa kursong kanyang tinapos.
Was he disappointed when sa kanyang pag-uwi, nalaman na lang niyang nag-asawa na sa isang university professor si Lani at may dalawa na itong anak?
They both work in the same hospital kaya, somehow, madalas pa rin ang kanilang pagkikita. And being together at work most of the time somehow made them realized that nandun pa rin ang “apoy” na kanilang nararamdaman sa isa’t isa.
Well, the kissing scenes were not very torrid naman. Yet, sapat na para mag-wonder ang ilan how Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr., her husband, and their to two elder sons, Bryan and Jolo, will react to it.
After all, in all her years in showbiz, never na napanood nga naman si Lani na nakipaghalikan sa kahit sinong nakapareha niya.

Speaking of Amy, she and husband Carlo, and their two kids Adi and Kyle, will welcome a new addition to their family before Christmas.
Amy is giving birth to her third baby Dec. 22 (caesarian section).
The TV host-actress is said to name the baby Isaiah Joaquin.
At this stage of her pregnancy, Amy is still working as if there is no tomorrow.
Bukod sa The Latest, she also has a morning show with Chiqui Roa-Puno and Cristine Babao also on TV5.
And guess what? She is also in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Ako, starring Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr., Vic Sotto, and Judy Ann Santos.
Valerie nakipagsabayan sa aktingan sa mga beterano
In Flames of Love, Valerie Concepcion, definitely, stood out kahit pa may mga eksena siyang maseselan at mahihirap with veteran performers Ricky Davao and Dina Bonnevie. And, of course, Jaclyn Jose, who portrays her mom.
She looks a little heavy, though, in the movie.
Valerie’s acting mettle will be tested again when she topbills a new series kasama si Carmina Villarroel.
Wala pang ideya si Valerie kung sino pa ang ibang artistang makakasama niya sa pelikula. Basta ang alam niya, ang unit ni Deo Edrinal ang magpo-produce ng series.
