Lyceum scores in UCAL

MANILA, Philippines — Lyceum of the Philippines University squandered a huge 20-point advantage in the third quarter but came back strong to beat Philippine Women’s University, 77-72, in the UCAL-PG Flex Linoleum 7th Season yesterday at the Paco Arena.

Alpha Ba starred for Lyceum’s first win of the season as he finished in double-double with 23 points and 13 boards in 35 minutes of action.

David Jose and Kurt Lee Laput also shone as the Pirates bounced back from a stunning 81-71 loss to Immaculada Concepcion College-Caloocan.
