Marcos: Walang politika sa OVP budget hearings
MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na walang politika sa pagtalakay sa panukalang 2025 budget ng Office of the Vice President (OVP).
“This is a budget hearing… this is something that every single government agency has to do, it’s a hearing, there’s no politics in it,” saad ng Pangulo sa isang interview.
“We do it every year, we do it with the same department, that process is well established, it has nothing to do with politics, it has to do with the budget,” patuloy niya.
Ayon pa sa chief executive, ang budget deliberations sa Kongreso ay paraan nito ng pangangalap ng impormasyon “so that they will know what the budget will look like.”
“So, I don’t know how she can characterize these things… malayo sa politika ‘yon,” wika pa ni Marcos.
Matatandaan na sinabi ni Vice President Sara Duterte na pinupulitika ng mga kaalyado ni Pangulong Marcos ang budget ng OVP.
Nilinaw naman ng pangulo na hindi sila nagkakausap ni Duterte simula nang magbitiw na kalihim ng Department of Education (DepEd) noong Hulyo.
Iginagalang naman ni Marcos ang paghingi ng tawad ni Duterte sa mga miyembro ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ nang umapela noon na iboto siya.
