MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag kahapon ni Senate Deputy Mino­rity Leader Risa Hontiveros na isinuplong na ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang mga pasaporte ni dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo at mga kapamilya nito sa Philippine Center on Transnational Crime o ang national central bureau ng International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).

“I have information from them (DFA), in fact, ‘yung Philippine passports ni Guo Hua Ping o Alice Leal Guo kasama na nina Sheila Leal Guo, Wesley Leal Guo at Katherine Cassandra Li Ong ay in fact ni-report na nila sa Philippine Center for Transnational Crime-Interpol para sa appropriate action nila. So, itinaas na rin po hanggang sa level ng Interpol,” ani Hontiveros.

Sinabi rin ng senador na sumulat ang DFA sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Bureau of Immigration (BI) noong Hunyo 26 at Hulyo 9 upang ipanindigan na nagdeklara ng maling pagkakakilanlan at citizenship si Guo sa kanyang passport applications.

Humiling din ang DFA ng crossmatch sa kanilang biometrics records ni Guo sa NBI at BI upang magamit bilang “evidence to establish the fraudulent identity” ng sinibak na mayor.

Nagpatupad na rin ang Office of Consular Affairs ng DFA likewise ng “precautionary measure” kung saan inilagay si Guo at pamilya nito sa passport watchlist database upang mapigilan ang pag-isyu ng bagong passport.

Matatandaan na nitong Lunes ay inilantad ni Hontiveros na si Guo ay nakaalis na ng Pilipinas at dumating sa Malaysia noong Hulyo 18.
