Fingerprints identification ni Guo, natukoy sa ‘dactyloscopy’ - NBI

MANILA, Philippines — Sa tulong ng dactyloscopy, isang infallible science ng fingerprint identification ang ginamit kaya natukoy na si suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo at Guo Hua Ping ay iisang tao lamang.

 “Dactyloscopy is an infallible science of identification. It does not make mistakes, as no two people, not even twins, have the same fingerprints,” sabi ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) chief Jaime Santiago.

Binigyang diin ni Santiago na ang comparative analysis ng NBI ay kapapalooban ng fingerprints mula sa dalawang magkaibang taon, mula sa  2006 alien certification of registration ni Guo Hua Ping at sa  2021 NBI clearance na nakapangalan kay Alice Guo.

 “We compared the fingerprints from 2006 and 2021.In the NBI, we don’t rely solely on pictures since photos can be altered. We compared the fingerprints of Hua Ping. We cannot determine if the other Alice Leal Guo with a different picture is a real person or not because the Senate only requested a fingerprint comparison,”paliwanag ni Santiago.

Sinabi pa ni  Santiago na ang buong pamilya ni Mayor Guo ay may nakatalang record sa NBI pero hindi pa rito nakasentro ang pagbusisi ng NBI sa ngayon.

Samantala, sinabi ng Department of Justice kahapon na hindi makakaapekto sa mga kasong isinampa laban kay Guo dahil sa magkatugmang fingerprints.

“Nag-file na ng criminal cases against Alice Guo. There’s also been chatter about ‘yung fake identity niya… ‘Di naman ‘yan makakaapekto sa kanyang mga kaso,” ani Mico Clavano, tagapagsalita ng DOJ sa news forum sa Quezon City.

Posible aniya, na maharap pa sa ibang kaso si Guo kung matukoy na “stolen identity” ang ginamit nito.
