“At sinasabi, according to Filipino fishermen, ‘yung mga Chinese fishermen, if I am not mistaken, ay gumagamit ng cyanide as well ang mga Vietnamese fishers,” ayon kay BFAR spokesperson Nazario Briguera.

Sinabi naman ni Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning na “Chinese government attaches great importance to the protection of eco-environment and conservation of fishing resource and resolutely fights against fishing activities that violate laws and regulations.”
