Malacañang dedma sa pagbabalik ng ABS-CBN sa TV
MANILA, Philippines — Dedma at walang reaksyon ang Malacanang sa ulat na pagbabalik ng ilang ABS-CBN Corp content sa free television matapos ang tatlong buwan na pagkaitan ng Kongreso na mabigyan ng bagong prangkisa.
Nabatid na noong Martes nang sabihin ng ABS-CBN na ilan sa kanilang entertainment shows at movies ay mapapanood sa A2Z channel 11, ang bagong rebranded Zoe TV 11 simula Oktubre 10 sa pamamagitan ng blocktime arrangement.
“What has happened is ABS-CBN has become a content provider so that’s a distinct line of business that does not require a franchise. I guess the fans of ‘Probinsyano’ and the other soap operas can look forward to them on Zoe TV,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
“We neither welcome it nor-we have no reaction to it because they’re a content provider. For all intents and purposes, it is Zoe that will be subject to regulation because Zoe is the franchise holder,” lahad pa nito.
Wala namang ideya si Sec. Roque kung nag-usap sina House Deputy Speaker Bro. Eddie Villanueva, founder ng Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc. at Pangulong Duterte hinggil sa naging kasunduan ng ABS-CBN at Zoe nang magkita ang mga ito noong nakaraang linggo.
