Armas at gamit ng Fallen 44, isosoli ng MILF
MANILA, Philippines - Ibabalik ang mga armas at mga gamit ng 44 miyembro ng Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) na napatay noong Enero 25 sa Mamasapano, Maguindanao.
Ito ang ipinangako batay sa sulat na ipinadala ni Chairman ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) peace panel Mohagher Iqbal kay Senator Grace Poe, chairman ng Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs na nagsasagawa ng pagdinig tungkol sa Mamasapano encounter.
“I take this opportunity to inform your Honor that the MILF has decided to return the firearms and any retrievable personal effects of the fallen SAF-PNP in deference to the peace process and the recognition of the MILF that it never wanted that unfortunate incident on January 25 in Mamasapano, Maguindanao to happen,” ani Iqbal sa kanyang sulat na binasa ni Rasid Ladiasan, head ng coordinating committee on the cessation of hostilities ng MILF.
Posible aniyang sa mga susunod na araw ay matatapos na ang “internal process” na pag-account sa mga gamit ng mga namatay na SAF.
