3-buwang suspensyon sa truck ban sa Maynila aprub sa Kamara

MANILA, Philippines - Matapos lumabas sa pagdinig na truck ban ang dahilan ng port congestion sa Maynila na nakakaapek­to sa pagmahal ng mga bilihin, inaprubahan ng House Committee on Metro Manila Development ang resolusyong nagpapatigil sa truck ban sa loob ng tatlong buwan. Nagkaisa sina Manila Rep. Amado Bagatsing, ABAKADA Party-List Rep. Jonathan Dela Cruz, Buhay Party-list Rep. Lito Atienza at ANGKLA Party-list Rep. Jesulito Manalo para itulak ang naturang moratorium.
Nais din nila na alisin sa Port of Manila ang mahigit 12,000 container at ilipat sa Subic at Batangas Port.
Gayunman, sinabi ni Quezon City Rep. at House Metro Manila Development Committee Chairman Winston Castelo na nakadepende na sa mga ahensya ng pamahalaan tulad ng Metropolitan Manila Deve­lopment Authority (MMDA) kung paano pasusunurin ang Manila government dito.
