P6.8 milyon gastos sa biyahe ni P-Noy sa Myanmar

MANILA, Philippines - Tinatayang nasa P6.8 milyon ang inilaang budget ng gobyerno para sa pagdalo ni  Pangulong Benigno S.Aquino III sa 24th  Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit sa Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Umalis kahapon ng hapon ang Pangulo patungong Nay Pyi Taw para sa dalawang araw na meeting ng mga  ASEAN leaders.

Inihayag ng Malacañang na isusulong ng Pangulo ang Code of Conduct (COC) sa China upang mabawasan ang tensiyon sa pinag-aagawang teritoryo sa rehiyon.

Kabilang sa 56-member delegation sina House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Press Secretary Herminio Coloma, Presidential Management Staff Chief Julia Andrea Abad, Mindanao Development Authority Chairperson Luwalhati Antonino at Presidential Protocol Chief Celia Anna Feria.

Nauna ng umalis sa bansa sina Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario at Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo.

Kabilang sa paglalaanan ng P6.8 milyon ang transportasyon, accommodation, food, equipment at iba pang kakailanganin ng Pangulo at ng kanyang delegasyon.
