Mojdeh aariba sa SEA Age Group

MANILA, Philippines — Pamumunuan nina veteran international campaigners Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh at Jamesray Ajido ang kampanya ng Team Philippines sa 46th Southeast Asian Age Group Championships na a­arangkada mula Dis­yembre 6 hanggang 8 sa Bangkok, Thailand.

Galing si Mojdeh sa matagumpay na kampan­ya sa 2024 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup na ginanap sa South Korea at Singapore.

Nakaabot sa finals si Mojdeh sa women’s 200m butterfly kung saan nagtala ito ng dalawang minuto at 16.58 segundo sa second leg ng World Cup sa Singapore.

Maliban sa World Cup, nasilayan na rin ito ng dalawang beses sa World Juniors Championships kabilang na ang pag-entra nito sa semifinals noong 2022 edisyon sa Lima, Peru.

Bukod pa rito ang hindi mabilang na gintong medalyang napanalunan ng 18-anyos na si Mojdeh sa iba’t ibang international competitions.

“It’s going to be my last tournament for the season and we’re hoping to end the year on a high note. We’re training so hard to make sure that we’re in perfect condition before going to Thailand,” ani Mojdeh na pambato ng Behrouz Elite Swimming Team.

Sa kabilang banda, nakasungkit naman si Ajido ng ginto sa 11th Asian Age Group Championships na ginanap sa New Clark City Aquatics Center sa Capas, Tarlac.

Makakasama ni Mojdeh sa girls’ division sina Shania Joy Baraquiel, Sophia Garra, Riannah Chantelle Coleman, Maxene Uy at Liv Abigail Florendo.

Pasok naman sa boys’ division sina Jan Mikos Trinidad, Peter Dean, Jaydison Dacuycuy at Ivo Enot.
