Converge problemado sa 3 players

MANILA, Philippines — Problemado pa rin ang Converge apat na araw bago ang pagbubukas ng PBA Philippine Cup.

Hindi pa kasi napa­plantsa ang mga kontrata ni­na Fil-Ams Abu Tratter, Maverick Ahanmisi at Robbie Herndon na da­ting mga players ng Alas­ka.

Nakuha ng FiberXers ang karapatan sa tatlo ma­tapos bilhin ang prangkisa ng Aces.

At dahil wala pang na­pipirmahang kontrata ay hidi pa kasama ang pa­ngalan nina Tratter, Ahanmisi at Herndon sa official roster ng Converge para sa Philippine Cup.

“We’re still negotia­ting, and as soon as those agreements are secured, we will file our UPC (Uni­form Player Contract) with the PBA,” wi­ka ni team manager Chito Salud. “It’s as simple as that. There’s no other way around it.”

Sa nakaraang PBA season ay nagposte ang 6-foot-6 na si Tratter ng mga averages na 10.8 points, 6.7 rebounds at 1.4 assists sa 24 games para sa Alaska.

Tumipa naman si Herndon ng 9.2 points, 4.3 rebounds at 1.1 assists at naglista si Ahanmisi ng 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists at 1.2 steals per game.

Samantala, tiniyak ni top scorer Matthew Wright na maglalaro pa rin siya para sa Phoenix.

Ito ay sa kabila ng mga naunang report na pla­no ni Wright na sumalang sa Japan B. League bilang Pinoy import.

Nagtala ang Fil-Canadian guard ng average na 17.4 points sa nakaraang Governors’ Cup.
