MANILA, Philippines — Sumailalim ang New Clark City Athletes’ Village sa intensibong paglilinis at sanitation matapos makumpleto ang 14-days quarantine noong Miyerkules ng mga iniuwing Pinoy na nanggaling sa MV Diamond Princess at nagmula sa Yokohoma, Japan.
Suot ang mga full protective gears ay nag-disinfect at nag-sanitize ang mga personnel mula sa Department of Health-Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH-CLCHD) sa mga kuwartong ginamit sa isolation ng 445 repatriates mula sa cruise ship.
“We would like to assure everyone, especially those residing in the adjacent communities of New Clark City, that the Athletes’ Village has been thoroughly sanitized by the DOH,” sabi ni BCDA President at CEO Vince Dizon.
Nauna nang inihayag ng DOH na ang mga kuwartong ginamit ng mga crew ng barko na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ay kaagad na-disinfect maigi matapos silang dalhin sa ospital.
“New Clark City will remain on lockdown in accordance with the government’s directive to the public to refrain from visiting public places,” dagdag pa ni Dizon.
