Hardaway bibisita sa bansa
MANILA, Philippines – Bibisita sa Pilipinas sina NBA legend Tim Hardaway at Brian Scalabrine at ang Detroit Pistons Flight Crew para dumalo sa NBA 3X Philippines 2018 sa Agosto 25 at 26 sa SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
“It’s a great feeling to return to the Philippines and get reacquainted with the passionate Filipino fan base,” sabi ni Hardaway.
Ang five-time NBA All-Star guard na si Hardaway ay piniling No. 14 overall ng Golden State Warriors noong 1989 Draft.
Hinirang siyang assistant coach ng Detroit Pistons noong 2014 hanggang 2017.
Miyembro naman si Scalabrine ng 2008 NBA champions na Boston Celtics at naging assistant coach ng Warriors noong 2013-14 season.
Siya ngayon ay isang NBA analyst.
“Traveling to the Philippines for the first time is an exciting opportunity to experience how the game is played on this side of the world,” wika ni Scalabrine.
“As a basketball fan and analyst, I’m looking forward to interacting with the fans and sharing my knowledge with the talented athletes at the NBA 3X event,” dagdag pa nito.
Itatampok sa NBA 3X Philippines 2018 ang isang 3-on-3 tournament na sasalihan ng mga men’s at women’s teams.
Nagsimula ang preliminary tournaments noong Agosto 11 at 12 sa Benguet State University.
Magpapatuloy ito ngayon hanggang bukas sa Don Bosco Technical Institute University.
Aabante ang mga lahok sa playoffs na lalaruin sa Mall of Asia.
