“It was extended to the period he was injured,” wika ni Top Rank chief Bob Arum.

“If he retires, he retires,” sabi ng 84-anyos na promoter. “A boxer or an athlete can retire when he wants retire. He has no obligation to me to continue fighting.”

“We wish him well. I wish him well,” wika ni Arum sa Crystal Ballroom ng Beverly Hills Hotel noong Martes.

“It’s not like he’s breaking his contract and fighting for another promoter. But if he wants to fight after this fight, he can fight and I will promote him,” dagdag pa ni Arum.

“What a privilege it’s been to promote you,” sabi ni Arum kay Pacquiao.

“If this isn’t the last time, I’d be happy to come up here again and introduce you for another fight,” dagdag pa ng promoter.
