MANILA, Philippines – Sisimulan ng Caida Tiles at Tanduay Light ang kanilang mga kampanya sa pagbubukas ng PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup ngayon sa Filoil Arena.
Magtutuos ang Tile Masters at ang Rhum Masters sa alas-2 ng hapon matapos ang simpleng seremonya sa ala-1 para sa pang-limang season.
Sa alas-4 ay magtatagpo naman ang mga baguhang UP-QRS-Jam Liner at BDO-National University sa salpukan ng dalawang school-based teams.
“With a lot of new faces plus the expected heated rivalry from school-based teams led by reigning UAAP champion Far Eastern University, University of the Philippines, National University, NAASCU champion Café France and AMA on-line Education I can say that the sixth season of the D-League is already a success,” sabi ni PBA Deputy Commissioner Rickie Santos.
Pinalakas ni Tanduay coach Lawrence Chongson ang kanyang tropa matapos humugot ng ilang champion players mula sa collegiate rank.
“It took some time before I was able to form my team so were cramming right now. Hopefully we’ve got the right pieces to make this work,” ani Chongson.
