Muling ipaparada ng Lady Slammers sina Americans Bojana Todorovic at Alexis Olgard na naging susi sa pagtatala nila ng 8-2 record sa double-round eliminations para angkinin ang No. 1 seat kasunod ang Petron (7-3).
Subalit tinalo na sila ng Tornadoes, 25-14, 25-22, 18-25, 25-18 noong Nobyembre 5.
Kaya naman hindi nagkukumpiyansa si Philips Gold coach Francis Vicente sa Foton na umaasa kina imports Katie Messing at Lindsay Stalzer.
“Foton is a very solid team. They knows what it takes to win big games,” wika ni Vicente. “We just have to stick to our game plan and do those little things that made us successful in the past like reception and blocking. It’s going to be a great matchup.”
Tinalo naman ng HD Spikers ang Meralco Power Spikers, 25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 25-21 para angkinin ang No. 4 spot at itakda ang kanilang semifinals showdown ng Blaze Spikers.
Tinalo ng Cignal ang Petron, 18-25, 17-25, 25-16, 25-18, 16-14 noong Oktubre 10 sa Alonte Sports Arena sa Biñan City.
