Sinabi kahapon ni Donaire sa panayam ng Hustle Boss na plano niyang magsanay sa boxing gym ni Mexican chief trainer Robert Garcia sa Oxnard, California.
“I talked with Robert and I talked with (assistant trainer) Brian Schwartz as well,†wika ng 30-anyos na si Donaire. “We’re looking at whatever works for me.â€
“I tried Undisputed and I like it there, I love it there. But then I have talked with Roberto about giving him a chance in Oxnard. So, that’s also ano-ther option,†dagdag pa ng tubong Talibon, Bohol.
Natalo si Donaire (31-2-0, 20 KOs) kay World Boxing Association titlist Guillermo Rigondeaux (12-0, 8 KOs) ng Cuba noong Abril 13 sa Radio City Music Hall sa New York City.
Naagaw ng 32-anyos na si Rigondeaux ang da-ting suot na World Boxing Organization belt ni Donaire, hawak pa rin ang International Boxing Fe-deration crown.
Plano ni Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions na itakda ang rematch nina Donaire at dating world flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan (39-5-1, 28 KOs) sa Nobyembre.
Pinabagsak ni Donaire si Darchinyan sa fifth round para agawin sa Armenian fighter ang mga suot nitong International Boxing Federation at International Boxing Organization flyweight titles noong Hulyo ng 2007.
Hanggang ngayon ay hinahamon pa rin ni Darchinyan si Donaire para sa isang rematch.
