Ninoy Aquino Stadium alternate venue ng FIBA-Asia C’ships

JVillar - Pang-masa

MANILA, Philippines - Ang Ninoy Aquino Stadium ang napili ng Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas bilang alternate venue ng 27th FIBA-Asia Championships na nakatakda sa Agosto 1-11 sa MOA Arena sa Pasay City.

“Yes, I’m finalizing it today (kahapon) with the Philippine Sports Commission,” sabi ni SBP deputy executive director Bernie Atienza.

“The  Ninoy Aquino Stadium is a logical choice, No. 1, its with the PSC, which is one of our hosting partners, and No. 2 due to its proximity to the main hub, which is the MOA Arena,” dagdag pa nito.

“The SBP hopes to hold some games in the group stagings at the Ninoy but majority of the games will still be held in MOA,” sabi ni Atienza.
