May bagong style si Manny na gagamitin laban kay Marquez

MANILA, Philippines - Pumasok na sa kanilang ikalawang linggo ng pagsasanay sina Filipino world eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao at chief trainer Freddie Roach sa Wild Card Boxing Gym sa Hollywood, California.

Ayon kay Pacquiao, sinimulan na din nila ni Roach ang paghahanda ng bagong estratehiya laban kay Mexican world four-division titlist Juan Manuel Marquez.

“Papasok na ng week two ng practice natin.Maganda naman ‘yung galaw natin. Happy si Freddie Roach at saka ‘yung mga strategies, techniques na gamit natin ngayon,” sabi ni Pacquiao sa panayam ng ABS-CBN News North America Bureau kahapon.

Nakatakdang labanan ng 33-anyos na si Pacquiao ang 39-anyos na si Marquez sa ikaapat na pagkakataon sa isang non-title welterweight fight sa Disyembre 9 (Manila time) sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ayon kay Pacquiao, kailangan na niyang baguhin ang kanyang istilo at estratehiya para tuluyan nang mapabagsak si Marquez at patahimikin ang kanyang mga kritiko.

“It’s going to be diffe-rent compared to the last three fights that we had, and I believe it’s going to be a good fight,” wika ng Sarangani Congressman. “My focus for this training camp is aggressiveness, so in the fight I can give a good fight.”

Pag-aagawan nina Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs) at Marquez (54-6-0, 39 KOs) ang espesyal na WBO ‘Champion of the Decade’ championship belt.

Sa unang linggo ng kanilang training camp ni Roach, sumabak si Pacquiao sa kabuuang 18 rounds ng sparring session.

Bukod kina American Ray Beltran at welterweight Frank Gomez, makakasabayan din ni Pacquiao sa kanyang sparring session si Russian boxer Ruslan Provodnikov ngayong linggo.
