MANILA, Philippines - Dadaluhan nina Philippine Olympic Committee president Jose ‘Peping’ Cojuangco, Jr. at Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richie Garcia ang pagbubukas ng 41st PBC (Philippine Bowling Congress)-PSC-POC Open championships sa Linggo sa SM Center lanes sa Mall of Asia sa Pasay City.
“We are happy and proud to invite our top sports leaders in the kick-off ceremony of our ambitious event,” sabi ni PBC president Ernesto ‘Toti’ Lopa.
Mga premyo at tropeong aabot sa P1 milyon ang pag-aagawan sa torneo na para lamang sa mga Filipino bowlers.
“Unlike in the past, we have kept the foreigners out and limited the competition only to local bowlers in our bid to develop young athletes with great potentials,” ani Lopa.
Sasabak sa torneo si 2006 world men’s champion Biboy Rivera at sina Enzo Hernandez at Alexis Sy na sumali sa 2012 16th Asian Youth event.
