Marami nang BarDa fans nina Barbie Forteza at David Licauco ang excited nang muling mapanood ang kanilang mga idolo na bibida sa TV adaptation ng 1991 movie na Maging Sino Ka Man nina Megastar Sharon Cuneta at Robin Padilla.
Kitang-kita raw kasi ang chemistry ng dalawa sa naiibang roles na ginagampanan nila after ng historical fantasy series nilang Maria Clara at Ibarra.
May bagong natutunan si David kay Barbie, ‘yung professionalism and dedication nito to their craft.
“It’s such a joy to work with Barbie,” sabi ni David. “Napakagaling niya umarte, at natutunan ko rin ang kanyang work ethics. Kung dati ay lagi akong nali-late sa work, ngayon hindi na, napapagalitan kasi ako ni Barbie. Bale third project na namin ito ni Barbie kaya comfortable na kami sa isa’t isa.
FPJ, Maaalala na sa tren
Yesterday, Aug. 20, ang Roosevelt Station ng Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 ay pinangalanan nang Fernando Poe. Jr. (FPJ). Ang renaming rites ay dinaluhan nina Senator Grace Poe, with former Senate President Tito Sotto at ni Senator Lito Lapid. Isinabay na ito sa unveiling of the new marker sa pagsi-celebrate din ng 84th birthday ni FPJ.
“I hope people remember FPJ whenever they board this train. Public service has always been in FPJ’s heart. Giving commuters a safe and comfortable ride is a way of keeping his legacy alive.” Poe said in a statement.
This comes over a year after former President Rodrigo Duterte signed a law renaming Roosevelt Avenue in Quezon City after the late Filipino screen icon. The late National Artist’s childhood home is located along the 2.9-kilometer Roosevelt Avenue which runs between EDSA and Quezon Avenue.
