MTRCB, babantayan na ang kalaswaan at madugong palabas sa streaming app!

Makikipag-collab na ang Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) sa higanteng Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVOD) na Netflix para i-promote Responsableng Panonood (Responsible Viewership) sa mga Filipino subscriber nito.

“This is a culmination of the efforts of the Board and our partners in Netflix who we have been in constant dialogue with,” pahayag ni MTRCB Chair Lala Sotto-Antonio.

“Here at the MTRCB, we look after the well-being of Filipino viewers of all ages, which is why safeguards must be in place to prevent young children from being exposed to content that is not appropriate for their age,” dagdag ni Chair Lala.

Complementary to the mutual goal of MTRCB and Netflix na matiyak na ang pag-access sa nilalaman at karanasan sa panonood ay naaangkop sa edad sa mga platform gaya ng smart TV, web-based, at mga mobile device.

Ipo-promote rin ng Netflix ang paggamit ng mga in-app na Parental Control na nagbibigay-daan sa mga user na maglagay ng PIN code at magtalaga ng account na “Mga Bata” para sa mga batang manonood.

Sana ay hindi lang sa Netflix ito.

Maraming nagsusulputang streaming app sa kasalukuyan at sana magkaroon din ng kampanya sa responsableng panonood para sa mga kabataan.
