“I had to choose between finishing my college degree or continue acting. I was in the brink. To cut the long story short, I said I’ll finish college. I turned my back one hundred eighty degrees on showbiz. Everybody was shocked. It was a big thing actually. They tried to convince me to go back. I had a lot of negative press because of that. I couldn’t answer them because I am out of showbiz na rin. If you’re out of showbiz, it’s not that easy.”
“Let’s just say I just took a break, and after leaving showbiz I got a family; I’ve found my wife, my beautiful wife. We have three kids. From that time, 2000 up to the present time, I would always have questions of hindi ka ba nagsisisi?
“When the lockdown came in I realized that showbiz could not help me in the lockdown. I wouldn’t have a job, I wouldn’t have projects. What saved my life is painting. Pagiging artist, ang pagiging pintor. ‘Yung mga pinaghirapan ko since college, since I was born being an artist, ‘yun ‘yung sumalba sa akin. Kaya now I can proudly say na I have made a good decision.”
Nag-turn 67 years old ang veteran and award-winning actress Chanda Romero noong nakaraang February 26.
“Today is my birthday. To those who want to send me love and prayers, please pass on some love to my nephew, Emmanuel Jero Noble, 39, with FSGC, a rare kidney disease and has been on dialysis three times a week for 12 years now.
Simply subscribe to his Jero TV Channel on YouTube and view his videos. If you find it difficult to watch, you can just let the video run for at least 5 minutes for the ‘view’ to be counted. This will help him earn and eventually ease the family’s financial situation. Thank you for the love. God bless you.”
Heto ang pinost ni Taylor via Instagram at Twitter: “I love coming on here to tell you good news, or to share a new project with you. It’s not my favorite thing in the world to have to tell you news I’m sad about. I’m so sorry, but I cannot reschedule the shows that we’ve postponed. Although refunds have been available since we first postponed the Lover Fest shows, many of you hung onto your tickets. I too hung onto the idea that we could reschedule.
“This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future. I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to see you in person as soon as I wanted to. I miss you terribly and can’t wait til we can all safely be at shows together again.”
