Babalu naalala kay Paolo

Guess who we are reminded of, Salve A., kapag pinapanood namin si Paolo Contis , doing his comedy acts, especially sa kanyang programa every Friday, Bubble Gang, with Michael V.

The late Babalu, that’s who.

Nagkasama, we remember, Salve A., sina Paolo at Babalu, sa then popular sitcom na Okidoki Doc, with Aga Muhlach playing the title role of a veterinarian kung saan teenager pa lang noon si Paolo.

Gumanap si Paolo bilang apo ni Babalu, in his time, a popular and effective comedian dahil unique ang kanyang pagpapatawa.

Madalas silang magka-partner ni the late Dolphy.

Now 36 years old, Paolo has two daughters with Lian Paz and with LJ Reyes, a daughter, too.

Kathryn hinayang na hinayang sa naudlot nilang trabaho ni Daniel

Even if her first film with Alden Richards, Hello, Love, Goodbye, emerged to date as the biggest box office hit of all time, Kathryn Bernardo still takes to Daniel Padilla as her best leading man.

And not because they have been in a relationship as well for four years now, kundi dahil talagang magaan daw na katrabaho si Daniel, whom everyone fondly call DJ, including Kathryn, of course.

Ito raw ang dahilan kung bakit nanghihinayang si Kathryn na nang dahil sa lockdown, two projects, a film and a TV series, na dapat nasimulan na nila ni DJ ay kinailangang i-postponed.

Of Daniel, may natapos na siyang movie with ace actress, Charo Santos-Concio, na hindi pa napapalabas.

Alden payag maging kontrabida

Of Alden Richards, he wants to star in a project na more matured ang kanyang role, for either a movie or a TV show.

Even a semi-kontrabida role, he stated, would be welcomed.

Ito naman ay malabong maganap ngayong taon.

He currently hosts the newest singing competition, Centerstage ng GMA 7.

Daniel may pangarap sa mga kapatid

Going back to DJ, proud elder brother siya to Magui Planas, na nagtapos ng high school sa isang kilalang British school sa Taguig.

Pangarap daw niyang magtapos ng college ang kanyang mga kapatid and yes, as regular students.

Last year, it was his younger brother, Jose Carlito Padilla, who presented to him and his mom, Karla Estrada, his college diploma.

He finished, we heard, a course in Business Administration.

Jose Carlito is Karla’s son with Naldy Padilla of the famous band, Pearl of the Orient.
