Hindi big deal para kay Aga Muhlach na hindi siya ang nanalo ng award for best actor for his performance in Miracle in Cell No. 7 sa katatapos lang na Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Awards Night.

As he said, parang contest din daw ang bigayan ng award. Kung sino ang inaakala ng judges na dapat manalo, then he or she win.

In his case, sapat na raw na marami ang naniniwalang siya ang deserving manalo, at higit sa lahat, ipinagpapasalamat niya ang labis na tinatangkilik ng manonood ang kanyang pelikula.

RK Kapamilya pa rin

RK Bagatsing, younger brother of Kapamilya actor Raymond Bagatsing, has just renewed his contract with Star Magic, the talent arm of ABS-CBN.

He was last seen in the top series, Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit, playing the role of child actress, Sophia Reola.

Given the chance, right now, his utmost wish is to do an IWant series.

RK’s real name is Ramon Kino.

RK’s Lolo is the late Ramon Bagatsing, the longest serving Mayor of Manila (1972-1986).

Both his Dad, Ramon Boy Bagatsing, Jr., and his Mom, Marilou Bagatsing, were, at one time, part of showbiz.

His father used to play character roles in several Fernando Poe Jr. movies.

One of his Mom’s memorable series was Yagit, which was released in 1983.

Did we hear it right na ang mga pelikulang kasali sa filmfest na ito ay mga rejected sa katatapos lang na MMFF?

Mga pelikulang isinabit for this year’s MMFF, pero, ‘di pumasa sa taste ng mga members ng Selection Committee, headed by Dr. Bienvenido Lambrera.

Mother Lily tuloy pa rin sa gagawing life story

Patuloy na ‘nanahimik’ si Mother Lily, which most consider unusual dahil, after all, she is considered Local Showbiz First Lady.

Ganunpaman, tuloy daw ang pagsasa-pelikula ng kanyang buhay, where Judy Ann Santos will play the role of the young Mother Lily.
