Lovi tinapos na ang pamamahinga!

Back in town si Lovi Poe who was in England for quite a long vacation.

She will soon start work, according to a Viva Films insider, on a new film with Joel Lamangan at the helm.

Titled In Between Goodbyes, Lovi will have for her leading men, Tony Labrusca at Marco Gumabao.

Lovi was at the 81st birthday celebration of Mother Lily Monteverde, at tunay na agaw pansin siya, ‘di lang dahil she looked truly a stunner, kung hindi nataon pa na kinabukasan, after Mother Lily’s birthday, si Fernando Poe, Jr. naman ang magsi-celebrate ng kaarawan na siyang tatay niya.

Kaya naman bati rito, bati roon ang kanyang tinanggap on behalf of her Dad.

The late FPJ would have turned 80. Fifteen years ago nang binawian siya ng buhay.

Sa kanyang libingan sa Manila North Cemetery, noong kanyang kaarawan, may pamisa ang kanyang asawang si Susan Roces at anak na si Senator Grace Poe, na dinaluhan ng maraming tagahanga at kakilala.

Ate Vi almost ok na rin na gumanap na Mother Lily

It’s a done deal na si Judy Ann Santos ang gaganap bilang si Mother Lily sa pelikulang ipu-produce ng magkapatid na Dondon at Roselle Monterverde for Regal Entertainment about their mother.

Tiyak na ring si Erik Matti ang magdidirek nito. Si Direk Erik na rin ang mag-a-assign kung sino ang susulat ng story and script ng pelikula.

Well, the group is on the lookout kung sinong aktres ang gaganap bilang si Mother Lily sa kasalukuyan.

Almost everyone agree Star for All Season cum Lipa City Representative Vilma Santos-Recto will be ideal for the role, and Ate Vi will most-likely grab the part, dahil ‘di lang siya may utang na loob kay Mother, kung hindi one for the book as a character si Mother Lily.

Now, baka may suggestion kayo kung sino ang puwedeng gumanap na young and older Father Remy, ang asawa ni Mother Lily?

Dennis umiiwas na sa isyu kay Julia

Besides, parang mas excited silang tatlo nina Andrew at Janno sa puwedeng ituring na reunion movie nila. Moreover, the film will prove it okay sa mga manonood sa kasalukuyan ang, kumbaga, old-school comedy na pinasikat nilang tatlo noon.

Kasama nila sa Sanggano, Sanggago’t… si Eddie Garcia. May one shooting day pa sana sa movie ang nasirang actor.  Ganumpaman, ‘di mo raw mai-ignore ang magandang performance niya sa movie.

Malaking bonus daw para sa kanilang tatlo na pawang magaganda at mas bata sa kanila ang mga leading-ladies na sina Louise delos Reyes, Cindy Miranda at Vanessa Wright.

Sanggano, Sanggago’t…, directed by Al Tantay, opens in theaters nationwide on September 8.

Geoff nagulat sa laki ng improvement nila ni Maja

Before the now much talked about series, The Killer Bride, Geoff Eigenmann at Maja Salvador have already teamed up in a number of projects. But they were much younger then.

They were both teenagers pa when they did the film, First Day High, a little older both na sila when they did the series, Moon River.

Ngayong mas matanda na sila, tinanggap uli nila ang nasabing bagong serye, not just because they are both elder and experienced, kumbaga, but because challenging in many ways ang roles assigned to each of them.

And since they are not given an idea of the eksena beforehand na kukunan sa kanila, they are on their toes, yes, all the time.

Kaya naa-amaze daw sila sa isa’t isa, ayon kay Geoff, kapag pinanonood na ang episode na kinunan.“Somehow,” ani Geoff, nakangiti. “Hanga ako sa amin. Hehehe!”
