Direk Joey sobrang affected sa ‘ticket swapping’, AlDub Nation pinag-iingat
Sunud-sunod ang tweets ni Direk Joey Reyes na direktor ng My Bebe Love tungkol sa diumano’y ticket swapping na naganap sa first day showing ng Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2015 entries.
Ang tsika ng mga moviegoer, ang binili nilang ticket ay My Bebe Love pero ang ibinigay sa kanila ay Beauty and the Bestie.
Kaya galit na galit ang AlDub Nation at feeling nila ay sinabotahe ang My Bebe Love kung saan nga parte ng cast ang idolo nilang AlDub loveteam na sina Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza AKA Yaya Dub.
Tweet ni Direk Joey, “Got word from producer. It is true. Make sure that the title of the movie on your ticket is what you want to watch. Beware of ticket swapping.”
Another tweet ni direk: “ALDUB NATION: Just make sure you get the right ticket before you leave the counter. It could be an honest mistake but still…BE AWARE”.
Tweet pa niya ulit: “BEWARE OF TICKET SWAPPING. Look at the title of the movie of your tickets. REPORT anomalies or take IG pictures and POST in social media.”
Heto pa: “Please be calm but cautious. More important, true happiness can only be obtained by sincere and honest actions. ALDUB NATION, be above this.”
Samantala, reports had it na kinumpirma raw ng SM Cinema ang ticket-swapping sa kanilang Twitter account nito pero binura raw agad ang post.
Ganunpaman ay nakunan naman ng screenshots ng netizens ang nasabing website post.
Sa nasabing mga tweet ay nakalagay na: “After verification, it was a mistake due to the high volume of tickets purchased. Apology for any inconvenience. In case this happens again, kindly get you ticket replaced at the cinema booth. Rest assured that the transaction will be counted fairly. Thank you.”
Kahapon, Dec. 26 ay nag-release naman ng official statement ang MMFF sa kanilang Twitter account at itinanggi ang ticket swapping.
“The Metro Manila Film Festival, after looking into the ticket swapping issue, strongly denies the existence of such and is enjoining all the stakeholders of the Festival to be responsible in expressing their sentiments especially on Social Media. The objective of the MMFF is to promote the local film industry and this baseless issue will only sideline the true intent and purpose of the Festival. Let’s continue supporting all the entries of the MMFF 2015,” saad ng official statement ng MMFF.
Samantala, bagama’t hindi pa nagre-release ng opisyal na ranking and figures ang MMFF, kumalat naman sa social media ang mga rankings and figures ng 8 entries sa MMFF as of 5 p.m. noong Dec. 25.
Based sa mga nakita naming posts at sa pagtatanung-tanong na rin, nangunguna ang My Bebe Love na may gross na P29.3-M sa SM Cinemas pa lang.
Pumapangalawa ang Beauty and the Bestie with P26.3-M. Pangatlo naman ang Haunted Mansion with P4.1-M, 4th is All You Need is Pag-ibig with P3.6-M, fifth is Buy Now, Die Later with P1.9-M, pang-anim ang Walang Forever with P1.5-M, pang-pito ang Honor Thy Father with P386,000 at pang-huli ang Nilalang with P299,000.00
Take note na sa SM Cinemas lang ‘yan and as of 5 p.m. ng Dec. 25. Hindi pa kasali ang ibang sinehan.
Piolo pinuri-puri ang pag-arte ni JLC
Isa sa must-see movies sa walong entries ng MMFF ay ang Honor Thy Father na pinagbibidahan ni John Lloyd Cruz mula sa direksyon ni Erik Matti.
Lahat ng nakapanood ng pelikula ay puring-puri ang acting ni JLC at ang napakahusay na trabaho naman ng direktor.
Nasubaybayan ni Direk Erik ang career ni John Lloyd. Sa katunayan, ang direktor ay aminadong fan ng One More Chance at dalawa sa mga Miggy-Laida na pelikula. Kaya’t kabisado na niya ang husay ni JLC. Para sa Honor Thy Father mabusisi ang naging collaboration nina Direk Erik at John Lloyd. Bago mag-shooting, pinag-usapan nilang mabuti kung paano ang attack sa bawat eksena.
Pagdating ng aktwal na take, namangha pa rin ang direktor sa galing ni John Lloyd.
Sabi ni Direk Erik, “Kahit anong hingin ko kay John Lloyd, binibigay niya. He always surprises me.”
Executive producer ng HTF si John Lloyd, kasama ang big boss ng Reality Entertainment na si Dondon Monteverde.
Bilang EP, nagkaroon ng “creative control” si Lloydie sa project. Patunay ito na malaki ang tiwala ng aktor sa ganda ng proyekto, sobrang laki ng tiwala na tinataya ni John Lloyd ang kanyang pangalan bilang producer nito.
