Carmina Villarroel will make sure raw na ‘di mapanood ng kambal nila ni Zoren Legaspi ang bago niyang series, Bridges of Love, which will start airing March 16, Monday, on ABS-CBN.
Mavy and Cassy are both 14 daw kasi. She admits, she’s a little daring in the series.
Is it true na may torrid kissing scenes sila ni Paulo (Avelino) in the series?
‘‘Naku, ha, panoorin na lang ninyo ang teleserye at ako rin mismo ay nagimbal sa ilang eksena ko,” sagot ni Carmina.
Paulo is not the only actor in the series with whom Carmina is working with for the first time. Ngayon din lang daw niya makakasama sina Jericho Rosales at Maja Salvador.
Also in the cast is Edu Manzano.
Zoren, on the other hand, is in the high rating series, Forevermore, co-starring him naman with young stars Enrique Gil, Liza Seberano, and Diego Loyzaga.
Zoren, on his part said, safe na mapanood ng kambal nila ni Carmina ang Forevermore.
Guess what?
Forevermore and Bridges… are both produced by Star Creatives, the TV production headed by Business Unit head ng ABS-CBN, Malou Santos, who is also the managing director of Star Cinema.
Star Cinema’s current production, the still ipinalalabas pang Crazy Beautiful You, starring the loveteam nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla, only on its third week of exhibition, has reportedly grossed, so far, close to P250M.
Aiko at Goma, hindi pang-local ang akting
Aside pala from Aiko Melendez, who won a best actress trophy for her movie, Asintado, sa isang international filmfest sa London but failed to even win a nomination in the recently-concluded PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for Movies, ganundin si Richard Gomez, himself an awardee for best actor for his performance in The Janitor in the 35th Oporto International Filmfest in Portugal.
In fact, in The Janitor, directed by Michael Tuviera, the only performer cited by the PMPC and was awarded the best supporting actor trophy was Nicco Manalo.
Nicco, son of comedian Jose Manalo, played kontrabida in The Janitor.
In any case, recipient of the best actress trophy in the last PMPC Star Awards was Nora Aunor for the movie, Dementia. Tie naman for best actor sina John Lloyd Cruz (The Trial) at Piolo Pascual (Starting Over Again).
Tie rin for best supporting actress sina Sylvia Sanchez at Gretchen Barretto for The Trial.
Lovelife ni Serena hindi alam kung ano ang nangyayari
Remember Serena Dalrymple, who have made a mark as a child actress, because of her memorable performance, particularly in the currently restored flick, Bata, Bata Paano Ka Ginawa? Co-starring her with Batangas Governor Vilma Santos.
She was only about eight years old then.
Now in her 20s, Serena, we learn that after finishing a degree in Business Administration from the College of St. Benilde, an affiliate of Dela Salle University, packed up her bag and left for Los Angeles, California, where she worked for a while.
Well, currently we heard na nasa United Kingdom siya, nag-aaral muli this time ng Master of International Business sa Hult International Business School.
Bagama’t she still keeps in touch with friends in the country, walang nakakaalam kung anong current statues niya, whether single pa siya, taken or married.
Well, good luck, Serena.
