Yeng may sorpresa sa mapapangasawa

While the original Ikaw, a song composed by the late  heralded composer, George Canseco, music by Louie Ocampo, and sung by Megastar Sharon Cuneta, used to be the big favorite among sa mga ikakasal for their wedding song. Now it’s ­another Ikaw, composed by rocker and former Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) champ, Yeng Constantino, ang napipisil na awitin ng mga ikakasal. This is accor­ding to Boy Abunda, when Yeng guested in his show, Aquino and Abunda Tonight, minus his co-host, Kris Aquino.

Noong nabubuhay pa si George Canseco, he revealed na he composed the original Ikaw for his wife, who died ahead of him.

Ayon naman kay Yeng, sinulat niya ang Ikaw na kanta para sa fiancé niyang Victor ‘‘Yan’’ Asuncion.

Yeng’s Ikaw was recorded by Star Records with Jonathan Manalo as producer. So far daw, ang single has sold close to 8,500.

Asked if she would sing Ikaw on her wedding day with Yan, a worship director by the way of a Christian community, aniya, yes, she will. How she plans to do it, ‘di niya ini-reveal kay Boy Abunda sa kanilang interbyuhan.

But definitely, aawitin daw ni Yeng ang Ikaw sa concert niya with Rico Blanco and Gloc 9 titled Icon, sa Araneta Coliseum on Friday (November 21).

Samantala, ang kasal nila ni Yan will happen on February 14 next year. For their honeymoon she added, they will go to the Melville Island and then will proceed to the U.S.

Iza bagay ding gumiling-giling para magka-show

Asked, on the other hand, when Iza Calzado plan to marry her British-Filipino businessman boyfriend Ben Wintle, sagot ni Iza, marahil daw in two years.

Meantime, hanggang Friday na lang ang airing ng kanyang series na Hawak Kamay with Piolo Pascual, JM de Guzman, Tirso Cruz III and child stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, at Andrea Brillantes.

Wonder lang if ABS-CBN would consider for Iza’s next project, a show, na madi-display niya ang kanyang dancing prowess.
