For a time, napabalitang former Goin’ Bulilit mainstays Sharlene San Pedro and Jairus Aquino would be doing lead roles sa isang teenage series.
But it looks like mauunahan ang loveteam nila ng tandem nina Nash Aguas at Alexa Ilacad, who are now featured sa Bagito, together with Ella Cruz. Magsisimula na ito mamayang gabi bago mag-TV Patrol.
Pero sabi ni Sharlene, ‘‘Suwertihan din naman ’yan. Siguro, it’s not mine and Jairus’ time yet.
‘‘Sana, tulad ko, Jairus is willing na maghintay din for the right time,’’ ani pa ni Sharlene.
For a time, Sharlene was out of the showbiz scene and concentrated sa kanyang pag-aaral. Hindi kaagad siya nagkaroon ng show after Goin’ Bulilit when she turned 13.
Practice na ng Goin’ Bulilit na when their mainstays turn 13, magba-babu na sila sa show.
She is glad na she was taken in the teenage weekly series, Luv U. Sharlene didn’t realize, she said, na ang following na kanyang na-win noong kanyang Goin’ Bulilit days were still around waiting for her to resume her showbiz career.
And guess what? She and Jairus will finally have a series together, Nathaniel, where ang tampok sa title role ay ang batang aktor na si Marco Masa. Also in the lead cast are Gerald Anderson and former child actress din, Shaina Magdayao.
Eddie gandang-ganda kay Liza, adik sa serye ng dalaga
Considered the highest rating series now ng Kapamilya is Forevermore, co-starring the new loveteam of the hour, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.
Guess who is an avid viewer of Forevermore, dahil gandang-ganda siya kay Liza?
No less than movie icon Eddie Garcia. Ay naku, he told me and Des Tanwangco, who is one of the two Business Unit heads (ther other is Star Cinema managing director, Malou Santos) of Forevermore, when we bumped into Eddie sa isa sa mga eateries located inside The Loft ng ABS-CBN.
Katatapos lang gawin ni Eddie ang isa sa naging high-rating series ng ABS-CBN, Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon, starring Bea Alonzo, Paulo Avelino, Maricar Reyes, Tonton Gutierrez, Dina Bonnevie, Albert Martinez, at Susan Roces.
His next project, according to him, is a starring role with several younger Kapamilya stars in a series, na magiging offering ng network sa kanilang manonood this Christmas.
Enrique pinayuhan si Liza na huwag munang mag-bf
Of Forevermore, it’s reunion project between Enrique at Liza, who were first teamed up in the movie, She’s the One, which had Bea Alonzo and Dingdong Dantes playing the title role.
They played best friends in the movie. Between them, mas naunang nagkagusto si Liza supposedly kay Enrique.
‘‘In that film,’’ ani Enrique, ‘‘naging maganda ang working relationship naming dalawa.
‘‘But since pareho kaming baguhan, wika nga, kung sino ang type ng management na ipareha sa amin o kaya sa isang project, iyon, siyempre, ang nasusunod,’’ patuloy pa ni Enrique.
Thus, he was included in a series, Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin. Likewise, he played leading man to Julia Barretto, together with Sam Concepcion, in Mirabella.
Liza naman was featured sa high rating series na pinagsamahan nina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo na Got To Believe.
It was, we heard, Enrique who mentioned the name of Liza bilang possible lead ng lady niya, nang ibinato sa kanya ang project na Forevermore, ng ‘‘powers’’ behind the production.
Well, this early, they have been told they will co-star in a movie titled The Bet.
Asked if a romance will eventually develop between them, Liza replied: ‘‘Wala pa sa isip ko ang ma-in love.
‘‘Sixteen pa lamang ako. And Enrique himself tells me huwag akong magmadaling magka-boyfriend.
‘‘At dahil para sa kabutihan ko ang advice niya, susundin ko ito,’’ patuloy pa ni Liza.
Twenty two naman si Enrique.
