Billy Crawford, one of these days might consider going back to Europe, particularly France, to resume his international career as a performer.
Billy after all, was at his peak performing, especially in France nga, when he decided na magbalik-‘Pinas and resume his showbiz career here.
A protégé of Master Showman German Moreno, Billy started his showbiz career bilang child actor.
“I was nearing my teenage year, when my parents (his mom is Filipina; his dad, an American), na na-feel siguro na ’di na umuusad ang career ko at that time, kaya they suggested we all go back to the U.S. so I can be a regular guy and student.”
Which, according to Billy, was what happened, until the idea to try Europe came.
“But I have no regrets when I decided na bumalik ng Pilipinas and try my luck here anew, even, sabi nga, nagpu-flourish na ang career ko sa Europe.
“At least, ’di masasabing I didn’t make it here,” pahayag pa ni Billy.
Katatapos din lang niya ng kanyang bagong movie, Moron 5.2, The Transformation, where, again, he is cast with the original cast of Moron 5 and The Crying Lady, Luis Manzano, Marvin Agustin, DJ Durano, and John Lapus. Pinalitan naman ni Matteo Guidicelli si Martin Escudero.
Directed by Wenn Deramas and produced by Viva Films, it will be shown simula sa November 5.
Juday inggit sa galing mag-french ni Solenn
Judy Ann Santos said she developed a kakaibang fondness for Solenn Heussaff, with whom she co-stars in the remake of the ultra-horror flick, T’yanak, which Direk Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes direct.
“Halata mong class siya, na nagpaka-down-to-earth,” ani Judy Ann. “And was I the more impressed with her, when I heard her conversing with someone in French.
“My God, that’s one language which I want to learn. At maging eventually ‘fluent’,” nakatawang saad ni Judy. “Well, sabi nga, libre namang mangarap.”
While Judy Ann plays the role of Janice de Belen, who was the star of the original T’yanak, kay Solenn naman napunta ang role ni Lotlot de Leon.
Now, guess what?
Both Janice and Lotlot are playing special roles in this T’yanak starring Judy Ann.
Sa presscon pa rin for T’yanak, ’di maiwasang hindi itanong kay Judy Ann kung sino ba sa tantiya niya ang mananalo among the four remaining couples sa reality program na I Do, which she hosts.
After all, whoever wins sa kanila ay masuwerteng tatanggap ng following prizes: a wedding and honeymoon package, a house and lot, a franchise for a successful business establishment, and P1M.
I Do will end in three weeks.
Natawa, sagot ni Judy Ann: “’Di ko alam. At ’di ko gustong malaman ahead of everyone else.
“Gusto ko rin yatang masorpresa.”
From the start daw of I Do, ani Judy, she made sure she detached herself from any of the couples.
Para raw walang magsuspetsang kaagad ay may pinapaboran siya.
Judy Ann reveals though, that as the reality show progresses, more difficult tasks await the four couples. “Well,” sabi ni Juday, “Isa-isip na lang nila na it’s all worth it.”
