Sinusundan sila ng On the Job (OTJ), Porno, na parehong may tigsa-siyam na nominations. Transit naman has eight nominations, samantalang ang Ekstra and Riddles of My Homecoming, have six nominations each.

Tigpu-four nominations each naman Badil at Ang Kuwento ni Mabuti.

Samantala, ang Natatanging Gawad Urian ay ia-award ng samahan sa noted film director Mike de Leon. One of his films na hanggang ngayon ay pinag-uusapan ay ang sister Stella L si Batangas Governor Vilma Santos ang bida.

Of Governor Vi, isa siya, for her movie, Ekstra, bukod kay Nora Aunor (Ang Kuwento ni Mabuti), na hinuhulaang mag-uumuwi with the best actress trophy. For best actor naman, baka raw (raw, ha) maging runaway winner si Joel Torre na gumanap bilang isang gun for hire, samantalang supposedly nakabilanggo siya sa On the Job.

For best director daw, baka si Eric Matti ang mag-uwi ng tropeo for the movie, OTJ, which Star Cinema at Reality Entertainment co-produced.

Two other strong contenders for the best director trophy are Chito Roño (for Badil) and Peque Gallaga, who co-directed with Lorie Reyes the movie, Sonata.

For a time, kilala sa local showbiz si Sandara as the ka-loveteam nina Hero Angeles at Joseph Bitangcol. Come to think of it, nasaan na ba ang dalawang ito, na kinabaliwan ng kani-kanilang followers - for a time.

Well, in Korea, Sandara is now better known as Dara, leader of the group, popularly known as 2NE1. Dara, together with the two other members of the group are Bon and Minzy. Their specialty: K Pop.

It’s not known early exactly yet kung kelan sila darating for their performance in the country. Ganunpaman, part of the group’s AON (for All or Nothing) 2014 World Tour ang kanilang pagpunta rito sa Pilipinas.
