Sen. Bong tinupad ang pangako sa DOJ

Back in town na ang mag-asawang Senator Bong Revilla at Bacoor Cong­resswoman Lani Mercado from their pilgrimage sa Holy Land.

With them during the trip were three of their children kasama ang brother na si Marlon at wife nitong si Gigi (nee dela Riva).

‘‘I promised (DOJ) Secretary Leila de Lima I will be back April 12. Ito rin ang pangako ko sa aking mga co-Senators and the House of Representative,’’ ani Senator Bong.

Now, more than ever, ani Senator Bong, he is ready to face the plunder charges, the Sandigan Bayan filed against him. He believes that God is with him and He will help him prove na inosente siya sa lahat ng akusasyon na ipinaparatang sa kanya.

Back home, balak uli nina Senator Bong at Congresswoman Lani together with their family, na sama-sama silang mag-take part ng mga religious activities this Holy Week sa simbahang malapit sa kanilang mansion in Imus, Cavite, so his dad, former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr. can join them.

Bagama’t di pa totally magaling sa kanyang sakit, Senator Revilla, Sr. never forgets his religious obligations.

“Feeling daw kasi niya,” wika ni Andeng Ynares, younger sister ni Senator Bong and wife of Antipolo Mayor Junjun Ynares, “his faith in God somehow gives him some kind of vitality.”

Pamilya ni Zoren at Carmina magi-enjoy ng cherry blossoms

Guess where, on the other hand, couple Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel are spending the Holy Week with their twins, Mavey and Casey?

In Japan, the couple said. Bukod sa matagal na raw nilang pangako sa kanilang kambal na ipapas­yal nila ang mga ito sa Japan, nataon din ang balak       nilang trip na ilang araw na ‘‘bakasyon’’ ni Carmina, who is, between her and Zoren, ay higit na aktibo sa showbiz.

Zoren, as we all know, is now engaged in the business of building and selling a property. Kaya, kumbaga, he is his own boss.

Birthday ni Luis tiyak magiging masaya dahil kay Angel

It’s likely that the Rectos, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, her husband, Senator Ralph Recto and youngest son, Ryan Christian, will be in the U.S. pa rin for the Holy Week.

They left two weeks ago for their usual family bon­ding. Sayang nga at dahil nagte-taping na si Luis for his new show The Voice: Kids kaya hindi ito nakasama sa kanila.

The trip is, likewise, Governor Vilma and Senator Ralph’s gift kay Ryan, who graduated from high school at the Dela Salle University this school year. Since balitang Ryan wants to study abroad for college, Governor Vi and Ralph Recto are, likewise, helping him look for a possible university na kanyang papasukan.

Walang balita if the Rectos ay planong bumalik ng bansa  for Luis’ birthday on April 21. Turning 34 na ang aktor nu’n.

Come to think of it, Angel Locsin herself mark her 29th birthday April 23.

Well, ito ang first birthday nina Luis at Angel after their reconcillation last Christmas.

Angel walang planong sa semana santa

Of Angel, do you know that Wednesday this week may taping pa siya for her series, The Legal Wife, where, of course, she is doing the title role.

Monday and Tuesday, though, wala siyang taping. But the episode, Wednesday, she was told, will be aired Monday.

Kaya, no matter what, the taping, she smiled, will proceed.

Asked kung ano ang plano niya sa Holy Week, ani Angel wala siyang specific plan. Like the rest of us, she said, she will meditate and practice the usual religious activities she does every Lenten season.

As for Luis, wala daw ideya si Angel, as of now, kung paano nito palilipasin ang mga banal na raw na ito.
