Gary V. nagsalita na sa mga naging problema nila ng asawang si Angeli

Kumpleto ang pamilya Valenciano kahapon sa presscon for Gary V.’s upcoming benefit concert, ang ARISE, Gary V. 3.0 na gaganapin sa April 11 and 12 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Of course, naroroon si Mr. Pure Energy and wife/manager Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano pati na rin ang kanilang tatlong anak na sina Paolo, Gab (na naririto ngayon sa bansa), and Kiana.

May participation ang tatlong anak sa concert. Paolo will be co-directing the show with his father at sina Gab and Kiana naman ay kasama sa guests.

Nakakatuwa dahil sa presscon, mas maraming questions kay Gary tungkol sa 30 years nilang pagsasama ni Angeli. Like kung paano nila napapanatiling tahimik ang kanilang relasyon, kung may mga pagkakataon din ba na naging shaky ang pagsasama nila, at say ni Mr. Pure Ener­gy, like any normal couple, they’ve gone through worst and best times.

“Everything comes into play, whether it’s a financial problem, whether it’s a health problem, whether it’s just not seeing eye to eye or whether parang what’s happening to our relationship and all that.

“We’ve gone through everything. But you know, I’ve just not been blessed with a beautiful woman but a woman who really has cared and has stood her ground as a wife.

“And she’ll say the same thing, she’ll say, ‘I’m not just married to Gary Valenciano. I’m married to a man who’s like this and that, a man of God and all. But the children have seen us in the worst and best of our times and that’s what completes the whole thing. That’s a part of the journey,” pahayag ni Gary V.

Akala raw siguro ng iba ay wala silang problema pero, nope, pinagdadaanan din daw nila ang lahat nang pinagdadaanan ng ibang mag-asawa. “Kaso may commitment talaga kami, may understanding talaga kami. Kung kami lang dalawa, hindi kami tatagal. But if we allow God, who put us together, to be the glue that keeps us together, we’ll survive,” he said.

Natanong nga rin kay Gary kung ano ang reaksiyon niya sa mga nagsasabing stage wife si Angeli at ipinagtanggol niya ang misis by saying na hindi ito totoo.

Ayon kay Gary, kung naging stage wife man o stage mother si Angeli, then, naging stage father naman daw siya dahil pareho naman daw silang nakikialam talaga dati sa career ng mga anak nila noong bata pa ang mga ito.

“But I’d like to stress this, I think, many, many years ago nag-umpisa na ’yung mga decision na kung anuman ang mga desisyon na iyon ni Angeli, ’yun ay hindi sa kanya. Those decisions were mine.

 â€œSa akin sinasabi lahat. So when she says, ‘Sorry, Gary can’t make it,’ sasabihin,

‘Ay, ayan na naman si Angeli.’ No, it’s because she talked to me and I said I can’t make it.

“And she’s there, pleading, ‘Gary please, it’s just five minutes.’ Five minutes to appear but two hours to get there, an hour and a half to get ready and then, come back. ‘I can’t do it, Angeli.’

 â€œIt always goes to me. Even with ASAP kapag may mga song na medyo tagilid ako, I will mention it but she is my spokesperson because she’s the manager na nga,” paliwanag ni Gary V.

Samantala, ang ARISE, Gary V. 3.0 ay selebrasyon na rin ng 30 years ni Gary sa industry. Proceeds of the concert will go to Yolanda Victims. Aside from Gab and Kiana, guests din sa concert sina Iya Villania, AKA JAM, Rico Blanco, Sam Concepcion, DJs Papi and Tom Taus, and the dance team led by Maneuvers, G Force, and the LSDC.

Not only that, Sarah Geronimo will also be part of the concert sa April 11.
