YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Angel Locsin is currently confined in a private hospital for treatment of her allergy that she had taken for granted for a time. May fear daw kasi siya for doctors. Lalo na for hospitals.

It was only lately when she felt na ’di gagaling ang kanyang sakit, if she’s self-medicating kumbaga, that she listened to the advice of friends na mag-consult na siya sa isang allergy expert.

Pero, bago siya sumailalim sa procedure, she needs to take anti-viral for 48 hours.

Kaya, the whole of Sunday and Monday, kailangang nasa hospital pa rin siya.

All because pagod siya at sobrang stressed. Kaya nag-weaken ang kanyang body system.

Worried dahil lalong nade-delay ang taping niya for her series, The Legal Wife, where she plays the title role and scheduled for airing pa man din early January next year, Angel’s doctor promised her na once nakapag-submit na siya sa scraping ay ’di na mauulit ng basta ang kanyang allergy.

The Legal Wife, which marks her first team-up with Jericho Rosales, has Rory Quintos at the helm.

Bagama’t for two years nagkasama sila ni Vhong sa katatapos na comedy series na Toda Max, this yet untitled flick which Joyce Bernal will direct for Star Cinema is their first team-up in a movie.

Aga nag-commit sa Star Cinema

Friday nang umalis sina Charlene Gonzales and her twins na sina Atasha at Andres for the US for a one-month vacation.

But not without attending first the wake of Aga Muhlach’s long-time and favorite PA (personal assistant), Ian Hacbang, whose dad, the late Felizardo Hacbang, Sr., died Wednesday.

Inilibing ang dad ni Ian kahapon, Sunday.

Aga was all the while in Mindoro for the taping of his educational show, Pinoy Explorer. He might come home, according to Ian, Monday. The actor is joining his family before Christmas.

Ayon pa rin kay Ian, ‘‘Kasi mag-a-advance taping siya for her game program naman, Let’s Ask Pilipinas, aired daily (weekdays) naman on TV5. Pinoy Explorer, now on its third year, is a TV5 production, too.

Lately, everyone is aware of the past movies and TV series ni Aga for both Star Cinema and ABS-CBN na halos gabi-gabi ipinalalabas sa Jeepney TV sa Sky Cable ng ABS-CBN.

We heard na well followed pa ang mga ito.

‘‘Actually, I’ve not cut my relationship with Star Cinema and, of course, ABS-CBN,” said Aga.

‘‘Malaki ang utang na loob ko sa kanila. At tatanawin ko ’yan always.’’

Next year, we heard, na Aga has committed himself to Malou Santos, managing director ng Star Cinema, to finally do the movie she has long offered him, with Lea Salonga.

To be directed by Rory Quintos, pangatlong pagtatambal na ito nina Aga at Lea. They were first teamed up in OctoActs Films’ Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal with Joey Javier Reyes directing, at sa Sana Maulit Muli for Star Cinema with Direk Olive Lamasan.

Sam at Jasmine pinagko-control

Young lovers Sam Concepcion and Jasmine Curtis Smith appear nga naman so in love that they are advised not to take their personal feelings for each other seriously muna.

Jasmine is only 19, while Sam is in his early 20s. Both have promising careers as well.

He has been tapped, along with Enrique Gil, to play leading man to newcomer Julia Barretto in the upcoming series Mira Bella.
